French forum report of a player claiming to find a planet initially named '?' that changed to 'Raxxla' upon rescan, located 15k LY from Sol. Claimed screenshot/video evidence never materialized.
Btw Drew, someone in JV.com French forums is stating that he found a planet named "?", afterward he scanned it again and it says "Raxxla". Not sure if hoax or not, but he will provide us with a screenshot/video tonight. He's 15k LY from Sol. Click to expand... Was there ever any screenshot/video or any follow up about this? or was it just someone wanting attention?
Rumor claims FD developers confirmed the Raxxla system has been honked/visited but details remain unverified. Suggests Raxxla may have ELW at significant distance (>200kLs) from main star, or system was passed through without proper scanning.
...FD has confirmed that the system Raxxla is in has been honked. Click to expand... I have heard this too, but haven't seen the source. Must have been some Twitch stream. Story also tells it was supposed to be a system you could do fuel scooping. When thinking about probabilities, it would have been somewhere with more traffic.. than less. Too much traffic and it would have been found 4 years ago. Less than 1k Ly from the bubble has many untagged planets, but not many unvisited systems I believe. Less than 300 Ly from Colonia has unvisited systems too I believe, since I found an ELW in that radius a few months back. Paths to Colonia, Sag A*, Formidine Rift and Beagle Point are well visited, deviate a little and they are less. Various far-away sights are well tagged, surroundings vary. ...
Skepticism about claims of finding Raxxla in systems that were already explored and scanned, suggesting legitimate finds would be in overlooked or insufficiently explored locations.
He just happened to be out there not looking for Raxxla, deep in a worthless system that had already been scanned...yeah right.
Claim that a Frontier Developments representative sent an email confirming a researcher is 'on the right path' in locating Raxxla, suggesting developer acknowledgment of search methodology.

Skeptical response to claim of FDev email confirmation, questioning the reliability of such developer feedback claims.

Allegations exist that Michael Brooks or other FD developers stated a player honked Raxxla's system without scanning the planet, but no official confirmation from Frontier has been documented.
Folks, have FD stated that at least one player has visited the system where Raxxla is (but not necessarily found the gateway)? I thought I read it somewhere but think it might have been someone up to mischief. Couldn't find anything on the front page.
