Unknown Artifacts combined with decoded coordinates and SAP 8 containers may function as a composite key or scanner for accessing Raxxla. UAs could either unlock dark systems invisible on Galaxy Map or activate a gateway mechanism at Raxxla's location.

Theory that SAP 8 containers, coordinates, and Unknown Artifacts collectively form pieces of puzzle to locate Raxxla. Suggests UA items critical to gateway interaction.
Good Job Cmdr Macros. i am sure this will lead to something. Dark wheel made some intresting reading last night and certainly fits with the mission descriptions. Which leads to the legend the myth of Raxxala. Somehow all the pieces of a bigger puzzle will fit together when we work it out i think, the Sap 8 containers, the location of the door to a place thats not a place. possibly the UA may be needed there. The trinkets of fortune i am unfamiliar with. Raxxala was a planet not the system i gather from the fiction.finding it wont be easy ( hardly likely to still be called raxxala ) and only the Elite would find it. If you havnt read the dark wheel , certainly worth a look. some other supporting evidence i found Raxxala is real. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=50320&...
Proposes that Unidentified Artifacts may function as scanners to detect 'dark systems' or 'dark planets' that don't appear on Galaxy Map. Alternatively suggests Raxxla exists on the map under a different name. Relates UA mystery to Raxxla discovery mechanism.
Manually added with Paintbrush Click to expand... Hee hee, was just about to ask the same question. I'm just thinking off the top of my head here, but there may be similarities to the problem of finding Raxxla, and the purpose of the UA. Not saying they are connected in any way, but one of the theories around the UA is that it might be some sort of scanner that could find a "dark system" or "dark planet", i.e. one that does not appear on the Galaxy Map or System Map respectively. If Raxxla is a "dark system", or a "dark world" in a known system, there might be a need for a similar type of scanner (perhaps envisaged with future content, i.e planetary landings and the like) to be able to locate it. Alternatively, and perhaps more likely, it may simply be on the map under a completely...

Reports testing UA transport to Jaques Station at Gliese 1269 without teleportation effect, questioning UA/Raxxla/Meta-Alloy connection hypothesis.
I don't think Raxxla is an actual planet. "Place that isn't a place..." The whole deal with those data crystals seems to be some sort of treasure hunt, and you usually do those when you're trying to find something small (not of planet sized proportions). Perhaps a certain something that you can actually cargo scoop ? "...door that is also the key." There are two things currently in game that could metaphorically be considered as a "door". The first and most obvious choice is a permit access to a locked system. However, one could argue that a space station's entry could also be characterized as a doorway or passage. Assuming there's a direct connection between Raxxla and the UA's, we should take note of their strong resemblance to the Ocellus starports. FDev after all did say that they (...
Player proposes testing Trinkets of Hidden Fortune items with Thargoid Sites as a potential mechanism for accessing Raxxla or triggering hidden content.
Spoiler http://i.Please use another image host/UzllCoK.png Was doing some bounty hunting for the CG when these old things popped... was quite disappointed with myself for not having cargo space. Will need to pop on a rack to pick them up next time I find them. Has anyone tested one of these with the Thargoid Sites? It's a longshot, but who knows. Also, do missions for these still get handed out (not sure if they fell only under the umbrella of the missions Macros documented)?
Player notes that Bunda (within 20ly of Shinrarta Dezhra) spawns Trinket of Hidden Fortune carriers frequently, suggesting possible relevance to Raxxla access mechanism.
You lucky lucky man! except not as no racks- you may never find one again! (In 2 years of play I've never come across one) Click to expand... I fear this is true, since now these things are on my mind. RNG knows... I feel taunted to have these show up when they did, but oh well. I'll pop into a few nav beacons (If I'm not mistaken, these things drop from trader/smugglers, so a RES is a no go) and see what comes to me. Worst comes to worst, I make some money off of bounties! Edit: Turns out they're not too rare after all! Or, I continue to be very lucky. Anyway, I have 4 of them - 3 to fill all spots around the structure plus a spare. I went to Bunda, a lawless system, and ignored my better angels while I sat cargo scanning anyone who looked like they were carrying things (not PP s...

Player proposes testing Sap 8 Core Containers with Thargoid device, theorizing that crystalline materials might react where Trinkets do not.
+1. Wanted to try with Sap 8 Core Containers, but sadly haven't found any yet. Just Hafnium 178 & Antiquities from the Convoys. Click to expand... Oooohhh, that's a good idea. I'll have to be on the lookout for those as well. I suppose there's a good chance that with them being under the umbrella of cannisters as well, it'll have the same non-effect, but unlike the trinkets which apparently are just human "knick knacks and statuettes" with some hidden message, the supposed crystals may lore-wise be capable of reacting.... Maybe if it doesn't accept it, try dropping the container into the beam created by popping in a guardian relic. I'm pretty sure it is well-established as just a particle effect with heat damage, but hey, if at that point the container isn't picked up by the device, m...
Proposes that SAP 8 Core Containers contain map fragments related to Raxxla's location, and that AI Relics could act as decryption mechanisms. Suggests testing these items at Thargoid map bases to decode hidden location data.
Available mission assignment I have a mission assignment for anyone interested: Collect 1 SAP 8 Core Container, last known location: Wolf 903 Collect 1 AI Relics, last spotted in Bunda in Degraded SS, Threat 3. Be very careful, it's a trap with 6+Vultures/Anaconda's. Lost a Python last night. SAP 8 Core containers supposedly contains map fragments, the base may be able to decrypt the contents and give leads to the location of Raxxla. As for the AI Relics, well, why not. As always...
Outlines a methodology for testing whether SAP 8 Core Containers, AI Relics, UA, and UP items produce reactions when placed in Thargoid map base placeholders, potentially revealing Raxxla location information.

Speculates that AI Relics function as hacking mechanisms to decrypt SAP 8 Core Container data, with both items working in conjunction at Thargoid bases to decode map information.
Isn't that actually two separate missions? Or are you postulating some lore link between SAP8 & AI relics? I can see the logic for trying the SAP8 (as a map container), but not the AI relic. Click to expand... My imagination wrt to the AI Relics only extends so far as to the AI Relics being a hacking mechanism helping to decrypt the SAP 8 Core container. That being one assumption, other ones are that the Sap 8 Core Container can be decrypted by the Thargoid base map room, and the SAP 8 Core Container crystal shards actually contains pertinent map information.
Suggests a derelict Anaconda wreck may be connected to Raxxla's location or identity. References dead crew ghosts and Cassiopeia A as potential related clues.

Dark Wheel lore describes Raxxla containing alien construct functioning as gateway to other universes. Speculation on connection to Formidine Rift as Thargoid entry point to Milky Way. Raxxla could exist in Col 70, Guardian systems, or potentially at Merope 5c.
Merge the raxxla and FR threads? They seem to be saying the same thing most of the time Click to expand... It's a white hole. I don't think there is. Besides.. “Thargoid incursions into the Formidine rift appear to be increasing dramatically.” (From the Rift thread FP. 'Doc' Jaiotu.) and If it does, then on Raxxla there’s an alien construct that’s a gateway to other Universes, and all that’s in those Universes in the way of bounty, and treasures, and aliens, and life... — Rafe Zetter in The Dark Wheel by Robert Holdstock The door the Thargs take to enter the MW in the Rift coming from Magellan? Of course, since that, aliens appeared ingame far from the Rift. Raxxla could as well be in Col70 as in a Guardians system. I for myself suspect Raxxla is Merope 5c which is an actual k...
Analysis of Rafe Zetter quotes from lore suggests Raxxla contains an alien gateway construct leading to other universes with treasures and life. Raxxla itself is already occupied by powerful elites exploiting the gateway, making the gateway the only special feature of the system.
Major Tin Foil ahead. "... on Raxxla there's an alien construct that's a gateway to other Universes, and all that's in those Universes in the way of bounty, and treasures, and aliens, and life . . ." "there are people on Raxxla already. This is only a guess, mind you, but from what happened to Jason I'd say it was close to being right. We've long suspected that a corps of élites lives there, and are exploiting the gateway. They're powerful, twisted men." - Rafe Zetter. The only thing special about Raxxla itself is the Gateway. All the really good stuff is on the other side of Raxxla, beyond door so to speak. Raxxla itself is already occupied. By powerful and twisted men. Elites who are exploiting the Gateway. Let's listen to Rafe one more time: "They're powerful, twisted men. Powerful...
Exotic cargo like SAP 8 Core Containers (available at Malsipina Gateway) may unlock access when used in Guardian Data Terminals or permit-locked systems.
You mean the Sap 8 Core Container? Worth a try. Apparently they can be bought at malsipina Gateway, though EDDB doesn't confirm. Maybe one should simply load up on all existing exotic cargo stuff and make a round trip to the Permit locked Systems. Click to expand... Ah yes, SAP8. Although I seem to remember there was some suggestion (misdirection?) a while ago about these being related to Sirius propulsion, but it seems like it might be a good idea to try these in the Guardian Data Terminal......
SAP 8 cores may serve a purpose when delivered to Guardian sites, Thargoid sites, or Sirius faction locations, potentially unlocking or revealing Raxxla-related content.
Out of curiosity has anyone provided Sap 8 cores to a Guardian, or Thargoid site? Or tried selling to Sirius?
Thargoids have historical association with both 'Sap' and the number '8', potentially linking the SAP-8 Core Container to Thargoid lore and the broader xenological mystery.
Sap and 8, Thargs like both. https://i.Please use another image host/YqVRI2w.jpg
SAP 8 Core may refer to a modified fusion core-containment field normally used in ship power plants, suggesting the container has direct ship systems application rather than being purely cryptographic.
Yes but more seriously ... just what is a "SAP 8 Core Container"? Is it a container for SAP 8 cores or is "SAP 8 core" the name of the kind of container? Why does it matter? Well ... if "SAP 8 core" describes the container then it is possible that a SAP 8 Core Container could contain something other than the crystal shard described in the object's text. If, however, SAP 8 Core refers to the crystal inside the container then it is descriptive. What the heck is a SAP 8 core? Click to expand... I presume it refers to what's in the container, what's in the container being a fusion core-containment field. And that the "SAP 8 Core" is what the "modified" fusion core-containment field is normally used for in its unmodified state, possibly related to ship power plants. Would also hazard a g...

SAP-8 may be an acronym for 'Sapient', connecting the container to rumors of a rogue-AI entity within the game universe. This distinguishes sapience (self-aware intelligence) from mere sentience.
Standard, Sentient, Significant, Serious, Sirius... Click to expand... It is a common trope in science fiction to talk about mankind making contact with another sentient species ... but sentience isn't all that it is cracked up to be. Lots of species are sentient. My dogs are sentient. When people think of sentience what they are actually thinking of is sapience. Maybe the SAP in SAP-8 is for sapient and they could be related to that much rumored rogue-AI.
Unknown Artifacts or Probes brought to Formidine Rift may indicate directionality or provide clues; testing whether they point toward specific locations could reveal Raxxla's position.

The 'siren of the deepest void' could refer to Unknown Artifacts or Unknown Probes, which exhibit anomalous properties; their behavior or signals may relate to locating Raxxla.
Another thought....Maybe we need to start looking for a black hole that sings? Find a black hole that emits some form of "sound" to analyze? it's a stretch, but would line up with the "siren of the deepest void". Can't get cmdr Guru's post out of my head, regarding Maia's BH. If still taking that line literally instead of following the Lyre theory, maybe take an audio sample from the new FSS scanner? If anyone found raxxla, you think they'd keep it a secret from the rest of us, to keep the hunt going and laugh at whatever absurd theories we have on this thread? Grabbing more tinfoil. Raxxla might not be a traditional planet but an alien artifact, omalos rift, or Mars relic potentially small enough to carry. Platonic concept suggests each soul assigned to a star, possibly meaning individualized personal Raxxla.
Right (again), Pa ! I tend to forget that not everybody lives wearing shirt and short 24/7/365 ! Yeah. Well, nevertheless I like to think that "Raxxla", actually, is more the "Construct" than the planet where it sits. It might be "removable". But don't pay too much attention to me. I just like the Oolite's concept of Raxxla... Click to expand... Alien artefact, ophalos rift, Mars relic.... You might be able to put it in your pocket. Should be a definite place though, according to the codex. According to Plato, each soul assigned to a star. I hope the personal journey doesn't mean we each have our own Raxxla.
Codex references 'Omphalos Rift,' an artifact from ancient Greek religion. Investigation should focus on Greek-named systems near Sol and the Bubble. System Delphi was renamed during Beyond update, potentially significant to Raxxla search parameters.
I came across something today when doing some random research on Raxxla. In the Codex there are several hints/clues I think I may have picked up on. 1) First, they make mention of something called Omphalos Rift. Omphalos was a religious stone artifact in Ancient Greek. So i am going to look around greek named systems around the bubble near sol. There is a system called Delphi that was named something else in the beginning but was changed in Beyond. 2) This is the most important thing i have discovered today in my research. The Codex talks about a story called "Astrophel and the Spiralling Stars" or Astrophel and Stella, this is an acutal sonnet worte in the 1580's. When you read the sonnet you will see there is a pattern in the words rhymed at the end of each line. Sonnets were wrote i...
