Thargoids may possess knowledge of Raxxla's location and used it as escape route. References obfuscated mission language and First Encounters lore suggesting alien involvement in Raxxla.

Speculates Thargoids may know Raxxla's location and used it to escape human reach, drawing parallel to Frontier: First Encounters lore. References obfuscated mission language ('place that isn't a place') as clue.
Just found the obfuscated mission about the place that isn't a place and decided to look it up as I had never seen a mission with writing like that...and I found this thread. This type of stuff is the coolest **** I have ever seen in a game. That being said, does anyone else wonder that maybe the Thargoids know where Raxxla is and perhaps used it to escape human reach ala Frontier: First Encounters?
Polaris is permit-locked single system near bubble and has historical Thargoid connection in old Elite games, making it a candidate for Raxxla.
From what drew described, makes sens that its either in the bubble, or within a reasonable proximity to the bubble. Seeing as Polaris is permit locked, and is not that far from the inhabited bubble, could this be relevant? I'm not sure of any other permit locked siongle systems in the area (Single system locked - not a whole region) Click to expand... There's several permit locked systems listed in this thread: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...-Permit-List?p=1894682&viewfull=1#post1894682 Polaris is definitely interesting, it's been connected to the Thargoids in the old games.
Proposes Raxxla could be connected to Guardians and their gateway technology, possibly a virtual realm rather than physical location containing Guardian knowledge archives.
I'm wondering if it could be possible that Raxxla is connected to the Guardians? The guardians were very advanced and were capable of creating "gateways to other worlds". The worlds were virtual, which is a twist that hasn't been considered as far as I know. What if Raxxla isn't actually a physical place, but a virtual realm where the archives of the Guardians advanced knowledge could be found? I have been reading this thread by CMDR Dreamstate, which has got me thinking about the guardians and trying to learn more - https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/322482-Carnivorous-Space-Elves-AKA-The-Guardians Well worth a read for any interested, is the most comprehensive reference I have been able to find on the guardians with all the facts and great speculation.
References lore indicating Soontill held Thargoid weapons and possibly Guardian artifacts. Planet was turned inside-out to remove all traces. Suggests permit-locked systems may contain undiscovered story content.
IIRC, re Soontill Spoiler Thargoid weapons. I think the Thargoids were interested in it because it had some other ancient stuff on it too, maybe Guardian related. But at the end of the book the planet got turned inside out to remove all trace of Thargoids and everything else. Re CIEP and other stuff from the book, yes it would be nice for it to be in game, but I assume FDev only have things in game that lead to some sort of story. Maybe this stuff is there, but currently in permit locked systems.
Polaris contains a structure leading to Thargoid homeworld per Frontier: First Encounters lore. Sirius Corporation created the Mk.3(b) FSD drives used by players, establishing a potential connection to Raxxla search.

A youtube user claimed it was a waste of time, and definitely not the way to find Raxxla. Asking for elaboration, the user said that FDev had made 2 comments on the subject. Polaris lock suspected due to lore Thargoid connections, though this may be complicated by Thargoid approach from Col 70 direction. Triton's lock may also relate to Thargoid activity.
Triton wasn't always locked though, but has been for some time (At least as far back as Dec. 2015) Although previously it was open AND land-able! Evidence here, here, and here. From what I postulated previously, I believe it's close to the bubble, but not necessarily at the heart of the bubble... Is there a reason we are assuming it's in the heart of the bubble? and that it has to be land-able moon? Not to question Jorki as he is almost always spot-on, just curious if I missed something... I've always been suspicious of Polaris. As far as i know it's been permit locked since launch with no explanation, is relatively close to the bubble, and has links to previous lore. Click to expand... Hi Cmdr! ALWAYS question! That's what science is about! And I freely admit I've been wrong lots ...
Triton could be a military base with captured Thargoid technology from the first war, explaining Federation knowledge of Thargoid intentions and the permit lock.
We think it is locked because of Thargoid activity as well. You think we would let your kind in to trade with us at our spaceport without requiring a permit?!? Click to expand... Illogical, does not compute! Triton is in Sol, the heart of Fed space, and is frequently visited by fed ships; the thargoids have been attacking fed ships and convoys. This only works if the recent Thargoid attacks were not by Oresrians but by Klaxians and why then only against federation? And a spaceport would require Thargoid ships to visit for resupply which would certainly have been noticed in Sol and would have hit galnet in BOLD CAPS! however, if Triton were a military base with captured technology and Oresrians from the first war then that might make sense! It might also explain how the Club know so mu...
Player reports investigating one of four Thargoid sites, finding only a brown dwarf at Phooe bRA XX-L A76-0, the system furthest from Jacques Station in Colonia.
Raxxla was supposed to be a planet, not a star or system. You'll need to do a system search and scan all bodies in each of those systems (asteroids too); there is some suggestion that not all bodies are detectable by ADS so you might need to do an eyeball parallax search too. Click to expand... Apologies...apparently I didn't put enough pips to my sarcasm font. I understand what it is I am looking for. I ran around the system a bit, honked here and there...the only thing there was the brown dwarf. Great work. Which of them is this? Click to expand... Proposes Raxxla may be the Guardian homeworld located somewhere in the center of the Guardian bubble region that players have discovered.
Happy not Labor Day Meatbags!! Just our weekly check in. We went to one of our old sites and activated it, downloaded the battle plan...erm...star map, and helped fertilize a few of the eggs. Can't let those "scavengers" have all the fun can we? During our journeys we have no new info on Raxxla, but we do have a lead to check on once we figure out where the constellation Orion is in game. Theorizes that Jason Ryder may have discovered Raxxla through Thargoid contact. References FFE lore where Thargoids created hyperspace conduits from Polaris, suggesting Raxxla could be accessible through similar Thargoid-mediated transport mechanics.

I've still got one eye locked on Polaris. Jason Ryder appears to have discovered (rediscovered?) Raxxla around the time of the original first contact with the Thargoids. One of the possible endings to Frontier: First Encounters had the player traveling to Polaris where the Thargoids open up some kind of hyperspace conduit that sends the player an impossible distance. If it is possible to access this conduit from Polaris then it may be possible that a plethora of destinations could be available and one of them just might be th...

Reference to narrative about massed Thargoid armadas found in Col 70 that may appear when lock comes off, potentially related to Raxxla discovery.
1. We've been told that Raxxla has been in-game since release. This means that it pre-dates Horizons. It very possible that it will NOT be a planet that we can currently land on. If there is anything near Raxxla that we can interact with then I (personally) expect it to be some sort of starport. 2. There is no reason to believe that The Dark Wheel have found Raxxla. Alex Ryder apparently discovered evidence that Raxxla was real but apparently died before he could pass on the details. The Dark Wheel, led by the Ryder family, continued to look for it until the quest tore The Dark Wheel apart and Neptune Ryder formed The Circle of Independent Elite Pilots and went looking for Soontill instead. 3. According to Rafe Zetter if Raxxla does exist then it is currently occupied by a group of élite...
Theory that Oresians are training humanity to fight Thargoids, with locked permit regions acting as holding areas and aliens potentially heading to Conflux, Hawkings, Formidine, and Colonia.
Well. I haven't forgotten. The big question is just which species is hanging out there in Spoiler COL 70 Sector Click to expand... My take is all we're seeing now is orisians teaching/evolving us in how to fight thargoids, as well being weapons balance testing by fdev. Then they annoy the klaxians and the locks come off while the orisians zip through the bubble and split up heading for conflux, hawkings, formidine and maybe even colonia all for the sake of ironic symmetery.
Author argues Oresians (not Klaxxians) encountered in COL 70 Sector due to proximity, and suggests permit locks indicate agreed holding area orchestrated by Oresians during preparatory conflict phase.
Well. I haven't forgotten. The big question is just which species is hanging out there in Spoiler COL 70 Sector Click to expand... I haven't forgotten either. It's not something I would bring up on there myself though as a lot of stuff in Premonition doesn't seem to have filtered over to a lot of the playerbase yet. I suspect it was the Oresrians they encountered. It was on this side of Col 70 which seems far too close for an hyper-aggressive warlike species to be just hanging round not attacking. Also, there's obviously some form of complicity somewhere in the permit locking, which wouldn't really stack up if it was Klaxxians (why would they pay any regard to our permit locks?), but would if it was the Oresrians and it was essentially an agreed holding area while this initial pr...
Author cites 'And Here The Wheel' lore to argue Thargoids had interest in Soontill but not in human legend of Raxxla, suggesting they are separate mysteries.
I don't think the Thargoids have anything to do with Raxxla. They considered Soontill to be special to them, but didn't have much interest in the human legend of Raxxla IIRC. (ref And Here The Wheel).
Speculation that something catastrophic happened to Raxxla/the Thargoids' homeworld, which is why Thargoids are now in human space. Suggests Raxxla may have been destroyed or rendered inaccessible.
If Raxxla still existed the Thargoids would never even be in our space. Something catastrophic must have happened to their world.
Speculation that the Thargoid invasion is deliberately distracting humanity from searching for Raxxla, suggesting the inhabitants of Raxxla may be using this as cover.
If Raxxla still existed the Thargoids would never even be in our space. Something catastrophic must have happened to their world. Click to expand... You say that, but while we're dealing with the Thargoids, we're distracted from looking from Raxxla. Which doesn't sound at all like what the ECoPTMWetc. (the people on Raxxla) would want. Definitely not what they would want at all....
Analysis that no canonical sources explicitly connect Thargoids to Raxxla, though neither confirmation nor denial exists in available lore.
If that is the case, shouldn't mean we can't still find it (or what is left of it) though. Not even sure there is a Thargoid connection to Raxxla, isn't the gateway(s) to other universes there just referred to as being "alien"? I believe Soontill is the only planet with a canon connection to Thargoids (from And Here the Wheel). Assuming that is still canon of course. And the station at Peregrina (from Out of the Darkness). Oh, and Polaris I guess too, although even that has a big question mark over it with the canon overhaul. Perhaps the technology on Raxxla was Guardian in nature - "guarding" access to the other universes or perhaps their home universe via the gateways. Click to expand... Correct, there is nothing I am aware of that connects the Thargoids to Raxxla. At the same time,...
References Holdstock's 'The Alien World' mentioning 'Eye of the Beholder' as a Raxxlan projection appearing over alien worlds. Speculates on connection to Thargoid genesis through this SF literature reference.
As an aside, following the Steven Eisler (Robert Holdstock) origin of Raxxla, I found this mentioned in a Google search from his book "The Alien World": "The Eye Of The Beholder. A Raxxlan projection which appeared above the primitive world Winter D, populated by sentient, but unadvanced insectoids. The Eye became an overwhelming symbol of the evil that stared from the heavens, so disorienting the creatures that the Oisir-Raxxla were able to build their structure and depart without life being lost." (http://ski-ffy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/alien-world-complete-illustrated-guide.html) I don't suppose that could have anything to do with the genesis of The Thargoids?
Speculates Raxxla is in Betelgeuse, linking to 'Tharg the Mighty' character (called it Quaxxann). Discussion of sci-fi homage, references, and cross-overs in underground fiction traditions.
Get your tinfoil hats. It's in Betelgeuse. Tharg the Mighty was from there. He called it Quaxxann. Guy is a green alien, has a small white mohawk, a circular feature on his forehead associated with Sirius, and can run off plastic. The analogies are clear, obviously he's a Thargoid or a Tharglet gone awry. As an aside, following the Steven Eisler (Robert Holdstock) origin of Raxxla... Click to expand... You know, I'm starting to think modern fans of sci-fi have no perspective of how the genre came about and blossomed. There was a very creative, and often as eccentric, underground. I have only just put the image together in words, but still don't always see it. Long story short; homage, references, one-upping, and selective copying was very common, as it is today. However... A fan...
SAP 8 Core container found together with Thargoid Sensor and Meta-Alloy in beta. Container is carried by an Elite Federal Corvette pilot who may require combat or negotiation tactics to obtain the cargo.
What we know is that The Dark Wheel traditionally don't deal with non Elites. If you are to get help from them, you beter have that badge. On the other hand we know that DW hasn't found Raxxla them self, so I don't know how much they are of use at all. By the way Spoiler SAP 8 Core is available in the Beta. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ens-Spoilers?p=6381373&viewfull=1#post6381373 Click to expand... The planet Capitol in Achenar system hosted sentient alien life that went extinct in the 23rd century due to human-introduced bacteria. This represents a known alien sentient species in Elite lore, with permit-locked areas potentially hiding other undiscovered species.

Non-human relic discovered on Mars in 2280, buried and small as a child's hand, remains secretive in 3300. Developer hints from Allen Stroud suggest possible UA or UA-related origin, indicating another sentient species or advanced technology source.

Alien construct potentially represents wormhole network with family ties to Thargs' mastery of witchspace and their pattern-based architecture (number 8). Suggests Raxxla could be networked across Milky Way rather than a single location, distributed through multiple portals.
LoL ! Out of rep. That alien construct, if it actually is an Oolite-style wormholes network, shows indeed family ties with what we know about Thargs, like their mastering of witchspace and their patterns based on number 8. (Would be cool if there was not 1 but 8 portals to the network ...)( It also would give a new dimension to what MB said about R : " Oh, it's in the Milky Way !" meaning it's all across the MW. A place that is not a place.) And, of course, the fact that they are vegans. OMG ! They came to steal our pepperoni !
Both Jacques Station and Halsey encountered unknown entities attracted by Thargoid sensor signatures. Neither subsequently relocated, suggesting shared experience of encountering powerful force—potentially mind control, benevolent contact, or recognition of futility in fleeing.

Salome stated Raxxla was 'first mentioned in the year 2814' during Distant Worlds expedition. This date correlates with weird events in Pleiades Sector and first contact with Thargoids. The term 'contingency' appears hidden within this context.
Is it offtopic? Salome said she found Raxxla "..first mentioned in the year 2814." This is from Salome's message during Distant Worlds expodition. Salome isn't exactly Drew Wagar. The date seems to point to weird things happening in Pleiades Sector, and first contact with Thargoids. I think they are still hiding something behind this word, "contingency", you see mentioned sometimes, like a hidden meaning or something like that. Weirdest planets in my opinion are Mars and Merope 5 C, but I don't think its either.
Analysis of Thargoid progression pattern of disabled stations suggests the general trajectory points upward beyond the Bubble toward a nebula approximately 4000 light-years coreward, possibly in the Ara region, rather than toward Sol.
Considering the Raxxla outside-the-bubble theory, I got a wild hair to check out the Thargoid progression pattern of disabled stations. The general line doesn't line up from origin to Sol, it points up and beyond the Bubble and there's this nebula about 4klys coreward (Ara-something?) I'm checking out as it seems to line up with their general heading.
CD-23 13397 (TRAIKAAE AA-A H0), a planetary nebula around a Wolf-Rayet star, appears to align with the trajectory of Thargoid-disabled station attacks more accurately than Traikaae Nebula.
Ok I know it's probably space madness, but it isn't the Traikaae Nebula the attacked station line points to, it looks more like CD-23 13397 (which is also searchable in galmap by cycling through 'TRAIKAAE AA-A H', and appears to be TRAIKAAE AA-A H0') a planetary nebula around a wolf-rayet star. H1 is a planetary nebula around a neut.
First Thargoid war occurred 3125-3152. Thargoids disappeared for 100 years. Mycoid-vaccine event occurred 50 years ago (3250, during FFE). Alliance was very new at this time.
I was quite sure that at least the cure for the mycoid was developed in Alioth ? Correct me if I'm wrong. Click to expand... Bear in mind the first war was fought between 3125 and 3152. The Thargoids then 'disappeared' for 100 years before Mic and Argent decided to go looking for them. I think you might be mixing up "the first war" with "the last game"? The Mycoid-vaccine event you're most probably referring to happened 100 years after the war, 50 years ago for us. The Alliance was very new and young in 3250 when FFE was set.
Thargoid technology in FFE allowed access to alien portals potentially leading to homeworlds. Jason Ryder's discovery of Raxxla in The Dark Wheel may have involved Thargoid portal technology and friendly standing with Thargoids as the key to access.
It isn't a confirmation that Polaris is Raxxla but it is a confirmation that Thargoid technology is leaps and bounds beyond our own. In FFE the player could utilize this alien portal to transport to what is assumed to be the Thargoid homeworld. I don't think that Raxxla is Polaris but I wouldn't rule out the probability that access to Polaris, along with a friendly standing with the Thargoids, could unlock the alien portal that just might be the key/door to accessing Raxxla. I honestly think that this could be the secret that allowed Jason Ryder to locate Raxxla in The Dark Wheel which took place around the time of mankind's first engagements with the Thargoids. Hm so I was just reading about Jasmina Halsey. Has her disappearance and reappearance been discussed here before? Theory that Guardians would have noticed Earth as a basic ELW and possibly visited or monitored it in antiquity, with Mars potentially being significant.
Do we have any in game lore for the origin of the human species? Click to expand... I'm sure Guardians would have noticed Earth, perhaps even visited the place, and considered it pretty basic ELW. Or maybe they liked watching giraffes and had some tourist beacons. It would have been very long time ago anyway. Earliest human species started appearing about two million years ago, so it would fit the timeframe though, so who knows.. Mars however, I think that place is something totally different.
Hypothesis that an alien race would build a gateway at their home system for mass evacuation, suggesting search methodology for Raxxla.
Raxxla Origins Are the Guardians waving to us from the Andromeda galaxy? Who built the gateway? An Alien race obviously. The Thargoids? I don't think so, legend tells us they found it and kept it's secret safe. The Guardians? Well they're certainly alien, and they may have had a very good reason for building it; to escape the Thargoid enemy that was wiping them out. So did they escape to another galaxy, and that't why we're only seeing ruins now and maybe a Guardian station/mega-ship, if the new trailer can be believed. Let's forget the Guardians for a (little) bit. Where would an alien race build a gateway? One guess is in their home world system for easy travel and perhaps even mass evacuation. So one would search for an Alien home world, but where to search for such a place? I had a...
Analysis of developer interviews suggests Raxxla is the second major subject in ED lore and directly connected to Guardians, distinct from Thargoids or Lave.
From this: https://youtu.be/BolMqymxLxE?t=2348 and https://youtu.be/BolMqymxLxE?t=1618 Two concepts DW was not allowed by DB to touch when writing his story lines: Thargs and Raxxla. And Guardians ? Quote reference to Raxxla containing 'bounties, treasures, aliens, and life' suggests plural alien species (Guardians, Thargoids, humans) can coexist there. Proposes testing Thargoid artifacts at Guardian sites as discovery mechanism.
Could be one of the most compelling arguments I've seen in a while. Who knows? Perhaps Raxxla is the Guardian's home world? Click to expand... "...and all that’s in those Universes in the way of bounty, and treasures, and aliens, and life..." I wouldn't necessarily say it is the Guardian homeworld, but based on that quote, to me, it seems Guardians, Goids, and humans are able to co-exist there? It says, aliens, plural, and life, as in human? I'm assuming civilizations had a means to get in and back out. Also, when the Thargoids and Guardians were at war with one another, Guardians tried to understand the Thargoids in an effort to being able to communicate and bring peace, but have we tried to use Thargoid items (Artifact, links, etc) at the guardian sites/ruins?
Thargoids may have evolved spaceflight capabilities rather than developing them technologically, with cyclops vessels being evolved creatures rather than engineered ships.
I've thought for a while now that the cyclops is a "thargoid" by creation/evolution, a creature, rather than a 'ship' piloted by an insectoid being. Hopefully, time will tell, one way or the other. Click to expand... My thoughts as well. I don't think that the Thargoids ever developed spaceflight. I think they evolved it.
Thargoid octo-ships may be bio-mechanical hybrid creatures rather than vessels piloted by insectoids, similar to Cylon Raiders from Battlestar Galactica with ligaments and goop-filled structures.
And good point, I still think what we are seeing is not really the Thargoids. You’d think with FD’s expertise in animating dinosaurs that they could manage realistic “insectoids, crustacean-like bodies, ridged and plated carapace mottled brown and yellow, with clawed limbs” (from OOTD) Click to expand... You would indeed. They do have that expertise on site and we have animated avatars in our cockpits and yet the octo-ships seems oddly empty. Spoiler https://i.Please use another image host/vjzCkDD.png I'm rewatching Battlestar Galactica season 1 at the moment and a couple of episodes ago Starbuck escaped being marooned on a moon by commandeering a Cylon Raider, a metal fuselage full of ligaments and goop. Maybe the Thargoid octo-ships are the same sort of bio-mechanical hybrid.
Thargoid octo-ships may be remotely piloted via telepresence (like SLF) with actual Thargoids remaining aboard a mothership in witchspace, with ships grown rather than carried by the mothership.
This is the problem with retconning, you never know when it stops & what to believe, which FD never appear to lay down in hard print. Does detract from my immersion! Maybe the Thargoid ships we are seeing are flown by telepresence (as we do with slf). All the Thargs themselves stay on a mothership which remains in witchspace. With the way the Tharg tech seems to work, the ships we see are probably grown out of the mothership rather than carried by it.
Two circles visible in Thargoid ship 'cockpits' resemble camera shutters and likely function as either ship eyes or stereoscopic cameras for a pilot housed deep within the vessel.

Cyclops vessels may be Thargoid creatures created through evolution rather than ships piloted by separate insectoid beings, explaining the apparent emptiness of the cockpit area.
You would indeed. They do have that expertise on site and we have animated avatars in our cockpits and yet the octo-ships seems oddly empty. I'm rewatching Battlestar Galactica season 1 at the moment and a couple of episodes ago Starbuck escaped being marooned on a moon by commandeering a Cylon Raider, a metal fuselage full of ligaments and goop. Maybe the Thargoid octo-ships are the same sort of bio-mechanical hybrid. Click to expand... I've thought for a while now that the cyclops is a "thargoid" by creation/evolution, a creature, rather than a 'ship' piloted by an insectoid being. Hopefully, time will tell, one way or the other.
The circular shapes in ship cockpits may represent eyes or stereoscopic cameras for pilots, or could indicate that Thargoids are tiny entities controlling biomechanical bodies rather than being the large forms we encounter.
Those two circles in the 'cockpit' look to much lie camera shutters to be a coincidence. Either these are the eyes of the ship or a stereoscopic camera for a pilot, deep inside the ship. Perhaps both. Click to expand... Would be amusing if the real thargoids are revealed to actually be the tiny blue “fireflies” & what we have been seeing are biomechanical bodies which they control....might make more sense of Halsey’s utterances.
Thargoids may originate from or have gateway to Raxxla. Star map in Thargoid base suggests possible connection. If Raxxla is beyond the Formidine Rift (as hinted in Reclamation), this aligns with Thargoid lore and dev hints about 'obvious attribution.'
i dont have much to go one, and i have only been looking into raxxla in passing for the past yearish. Some things stand out to me though, and im sure they've been discussed before, but because this thread is 300 pages long, i dont exactly have time to sift through all of it. just some thoughts... Thargoid connection: The star map of the other galaxy in the thargoid base. Could this be where raxxla leads, or one of the many places it leads? is it possible the thargoids came from raxxla? if this is the case, its more than likely that raxxla is in the FRift. But that doesnt work with the "obvious" attribution that has been given by the devs. which is my next thought. This would also fit with what we learned in Reclamation when it's hinted that raxxla is beyond the FRift. if it really is ob...
Three stars in Orion (Mintaka, Epsilon Orionis, Alnitak) have black holes in-game but not in reality. Mintaka confirmed to have black hole; Alnitak reportedly lacks one despite in-game presence three years ago.
I also thought the same thing with the alignment but all the other stars are there ! I was thinking maybe it is viewed from a slightly different perspective (close to sol) to make it les obvious .... as i said above this was the line i was going down when i was following the white rabbit lol. Stil it strikes me as suspicious that all three have black holes in game and definitely not in reality! Click to expand... Well, I'm very aware that Mintaka has a black hole in game, can't speak for Epsilon Orionis as I haven't visited. However, I have been to Alnitak, and unless my discovery scanner missed it 3 years ago, it doesn't have a black hole (checked the system map in game last night).
Phrase 'for those with eyes to see' combined with eagle eye symbolism (8x human vision). Eagle Nebula investigation and Eagle Eye program in Delphi (Thargoid detection) both suggest Delphi is central to Raxxla. Delphi confirmed as Thargoid hotspot and world-center in Greek mythology.

One, following the lead previously suggested by Stonn Mrogg, heading to the Eagle nebulae to see what we can see - or perhaps the Eagle Eye is a reference to the program of the same name in Delphi, designed to locate Thargoids. Furthermore, in Delphi there exists a Thargoid structure. Since Delphi is almost definitely related to the Raxxla story by viture of being the center of the 'world' in Greek mythology, and it is a hotspot for Thargoid activity,...

Mentions difficulty investigating Eagle Eye location in Delphi but acknowledges it as a potential lead worth exploring.
What are the current leads? From what I understand, mostly thanks to CMDR GURU, the strongest lead is in the Heart and Soul nebula. We've confirmed the parent's woe, and now must try to find the meaning of 'The Lover's Woe'. I don't know how to investigate Eagle Eye in Delphi, nor do I think the 'between two eagles' lead between eagle and aquila nebulae is valid. Seems like way too large an area to search, unless it's something exactly in between the two, maybe a couple of systems. Either way, I'm heading rimward. --- "On Cupid's bow how are my heartstrings bent, That see my wrack, and yet embrace the same? When most I glory, then I feel most shame: I willing run, yet while I run, repent." He seeks love but it causes distress - the lover's woe. "My best wits still their own disgr...
Proposes Delphi as center of mythological world with Thargoid structure present, suggesting connection between Greek mythology's Delphi (world center), Eagle Eye installation, and Raxxla mystery.
Isn't there an installation in Delphi called Eagle Eye Six?
Connects 'for those with eyes to see' Raxxla hint with eagle vision superiority (4-8x human eyesight) and Eagle Eye Six installation in Delphi as potential reference to Thargoid detection program.
Isn't there an installation in Delphi called Eagle Eye Six?
Identifies omphalos (navel of the world) symbolism in the Robotic Avian artifact showing small object at bottom, axis markers, and winged creature at top, suggesting Aquila, Cygnus, or Draco as candidates.
I think there is quite a bit of omphalos symbolism in the Robotic Avian. Small planet at the bottom, axis with up and down markers and a big winged creature at the top. Aquila, Cygnus and Draco would be likely candidates as winged beasts of the sky. Click to expand... Are you sure that’s a planet it’s holding & not a tortoise?

'Whisperer in Witchspace' interpreted as Thargoid reference (only known witchspace navigators capable of hyperspace interdiction); 'Siren of deepest void' connects to Thargoid acoustic signatures.
Strange as it may seem, "To the whisperer in witch-space, the siren of the deepest void" sounds like Thargoids to me. "the whisperer in witch-space" - Thargoids are the only thing we know of that can navigate witch-space (able to pull players out of hyperspace) "the siren of the deepest void" - Far more of a stretch, but the sounds they make could pretty adequately be described as a siren of a deep void.
Polaris represents the navel of the sky wheel and held a Thargoid portal in Frontier: First Encounters. The system's symbolic significance as Stella Polaris/Stella Maris suggests it may be part of the Raxxla quest, though likely not the starting point.
Polaris, polar star, Stella Polaris mean very similar things as omphalos, or the navel. Stella Maris. Neuer more valiant. Click to expand... Polaris is the nave of the sky wheel. At least the northern one. It also actually had an alien(Thargoid) portal, in FFE. It would surprise me If it’s not somehow part of the quest. I don’t think it’s the starting point though.
Formidine Rift expedition logs reference witchspace phenomena with siren song calling and lights, potentially connecting to broader Raxxla mystery as one of Elite's oldest running storylines.

Linking Salomé's message indicating Formidine Rift, Hawking's Gap, and The Conflux are tied to Pleiades events and Thargoid return, suggesting potential Raxxla connection to these anomalies.
Still a new account, hope this won't get buried, but thought it might interest you. Equip tinfoil hats Long story short: i found a system that can't be flown to, can't be selected, but is there on the map. It might be a bug, a mistake on my part, or some placeholder, but. A few days back, i made a thread on EliteExplorers over at Reddit a few days back about possible links between FR Alpha site's messages and Raxxla's Codex entry (i also posted here about it). It yielded, from fellow commanders, a lot of info that i had never known, missed out on or forgot, among which Salomé's message that the Formidine Rift, Hawking's Gap and The Conflux all are tied to what happened in the Pleiades at the time (the return of the Thargoids). And we also know that Thargoids may have some kind of relat...
Wake echoes collected from Thargoid hyperdiction but provided no destination data. Hyperdictions began ~2 years ago, first reported near Gnosis, with second occurrence in Pleiades Sector near Delphi.
What is hyperinterdiction. Is that getting pulled from a system to system jump? How and when did that start happening? And if so where did it occur? Click to expand... 1. Yes you‘re being pulled from a system to system jump and no you cannot resist being pulled out. 2. Not sure when it actually started. The forst time I heard about it was when the Gnosis was hyperdicted on its way to Cone Sector. 3. I did scan the wake echoes with my wake scanner. Collected some data but did not get a message about where the Thargs jumped to. They did not attack, just did some scanning. Had no AX weaponry aboard my clipper so didn‘t try shooting them. 4. Happened in Pmeiades Sector two or three jumps out from Delphi.
Thargoid interceptors named after Greek mythology (Cyclops, Basilisk, Medusa, Hydra) suggests deep thematic connection between Thargoids and Raxxla. Kahina Tijani Loren's theft of meta-alloys from Darnielle's Progress indicates Dark Wheel interest in Thargoid materials.
On page 322, CMDR GURU explains his groups findings, and so far I think they're the best source of Raxxla info thus far. Everything has an incredible link to Greek mythology, including the Thargoid interceptors - named Cyclops, Basilisk, Medusa and Hydra, respectively. I think this is enough proof to say that the Thargoids and Raxxla are intertwined. We also know that the only member of the Dark Wheel that we've heard of since 1984 is the former senator Kahina Tijani Loren, may she rest in peace. She was known to have stolen meta-alloys from Darnielle's Progress - forty something, if I remember correctly? Why would the Dark Wheel need meta-alloys? Anyways, as I write this, I sit in my newly built Imperial Courier, the Seven Veils, with a pair of meta-alloys in my hold outside of a Thar...
Thargoid probe maps definitively point from Merope (left) to Col 70 Sector FY-N C21-3 (right), with probe signals directed at Merope 5C. Three distance measurements encode: distance to target system, distance to Merope, and distance to current system.
Are the Thargoid maps thoroughly understood? I'd like to exhaust all potential location indicators before I start chasing ghosts in the void. *Edited to correct typos. Click to expand... Not even remotely. The thargoid probe's image is most likely the details of a specific planet, but as to which planet no one knows for certain. As for the Device image: http://remlok-industries.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/ED-Arteregn-Thargoid-map-handtraced.png All that is known for absolute certain is that the system on the left is Merope, and that Thargoid Sensors always point at Merope (The star specifically). The system on the right is undetermined, but in the game probes point at Merope 5C. I have personally taken a Sensor, Link, and Probe to Merope and oriented the three to where they would li...
The 'spiralling stars' clue may reference the visual display patterns found within Thargoid structures, particularly when combined with Maia region as a location hint. Thargoid construction could explain the spiralling imagery.
One thing that struck me (and I realise I may be taking an overly simplistic view here) is the reference to spiralling stars. Seems to me to be describing a Neutron star. Everytime I have done a boost it's like the view from inside a washing machine, so I was wondering about this being a more obvious clue than some of the others. Click to expand... There’s another possibility. I think everyone so far has assumed “Princess Astrophel and the Spiralling Stars” refers to the “Astrophel and Stella” sonnets by Philip Sydney, however it might also be an association instead of a single entity, i.e. “Princess Astrophel” and “The Spiralling Stars”. Someone recently posted that they thought the earlier clue pointed towards the Maia region, and of course that is now in the Thargoid area of influen...
Thargoids, as an ancient species, may have witnessed the formation of the Pleiades cluster and built monuments around Maia in response. This explains their historical connection to the region and could factor into Raxxla's location.
Though just to clarify, although all of the Club have featured in Galnet, there's nothing to say we hear of all of them often via Galnet. Click to expand... True! Han_Zen mentioned it above before I could say it (going to anyway ) but “Princess Astrophel” could represent a Thargoid: since they are all female (I believe) a princess is a young queen, and queen insects lay eggs, and there are eggs in the Thargoid structures which show the ‘spiralling stars’ . In conjunction with the possible Maia solution to the earlier clue (who posted that? Can’t find it) then it is suggestive.
Princess Astrophel could represent a female Thargoid entity (as Thargoids are reported to be female), with 'spiralling stars' referring to the spiral patterns visible in Thargoid structure displays or egg chambers. This unifies literary and xenological interpretations.
Someone recently posted that they thought the earlier clue pointed towards the Maia region, and of course that is now in the Thargoid area of influence. What if the “Spiralling Stars” part of this refers to the display in a Thargoid Structure? Click to expand... I think who Princess Astrophel is, determines what the spiraling stars are. They are 'together' in the meaning. If the Princess is Vega that loves Altair, then the spiraling stars are the Milky way. If the chilenerens book is a reversed...
Connects recent Galnet lunar base attack to Unit 1 and Project Thunderchild capabilities involving GCS Sarasvati, suggesting AI involvement rather than Dark Wheel connection.
This article https://community.elitedangerous.com/en/galnet/uid/5c5d9d27c9fc306cf10a1310 speaks of a lunar base and not a starport, so my guess is that they're not related. Click to expand... I also suspect that this article is not related to either The Dark Wheel or the search for Raxxla. The reason is that I see it as being a very good match to the capabilities of an AI, such as the Unit 1 or Project Thunderchild mentioned as part of the GCS Sarasvati mystery ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...out-megaship?p=5963310&viewfull=1#post5963310 ). (Although I agree with hanerib, I don't think that Unit 1 would attack Eagle Eye, as that is an asset in the fight against the Thargoids). . There have been a number of events in Galnet since the discovery of the Sarasvati that are in line ...
Thargoid base in Delphi is actively maintained with scavengers cleaning corrosion from exposed areas (new behavior observation). Base may transmit coordinates to unrevealed locations requiring internal access investigation.
Took a trip to the thargoid base in Delphi. It’s definialty active, and the scavengers are cleaning corrosion damage off of an exposed area. Something I haven’t personally seen them do before. I don’t have the stuff or the setup to get inside myself to see what the coords might be that this base is sending us to. Anyone know or want to take a swing by.
Unknown Artifacts point to Merope system while Unknown Probes point to Merope 5C. Proposes tuning fork and/or pendulum may be required as a key ingredient for unlocking Raxxla-related discoveries at this heavily-searched location.
We don't have any evidence that they are connected. The map has a specific purpose and it's not to find Raxxla. The spiraling stars in the 'map room' are interesting though. If anything in the thargoid realm is Raxxla related, I would guess Merope 5C is most likely. It's an unremarkable moon at the center(omphalos) of everything. The only thing interesting about it, is a peculiar orbital inclination. Merope 5C has been more searched than any planet in the game. If there is something there, we are missing a key ingredient in the search. Perhaps it's the cosmic enlightenment? Click to expand... Don’t forget UAs all point to Merope star/system and UPs all point to Merope 5C. Maybe we need a tuning fork &/or pendulum?
Thargoid map room displays four systems: Merope and COL 70 sector fy-n c21-3 (fixed anchors), one system where the map is obtained, and a fourth target system. Three known systems permit triangulation with occasional false positives filtered using EDSM coordinate matching.
This is 100% true but I wasnt sure that we confirmed thats what COL 70 sector fy-n c21-3 looked like just that this was the system the probe came from. Its been awhile since I looked over all that so could be remembering it wrong. Click to expand... There are four systems on the map. Merope and COL 70 sector fy-n c21-3 are fixed. The one on the bottom is the system where you get the map in the Thargoid device. The one on the top is the target system, to find the next site. Three known systems, to get the next one. Three isn't really enough to get a precise position. You will often get one false solution. The Canonn tool matches the results with known systems coordinates in EDSM, to filter out the false positives. Quite clever.
Thargoids use artifacts (sensor, probe, link) in unknown machines for navigation. Proposes testing whether human-made artifacts or machines could similarly locate Raxxla, since unknown machines react to Guardian technology.
Question. I should to ask it in Thargoids thread. But... They using their artefacts for the navigation. I mean that combination of the sensor, probe and link in the unknown machine. Is it possible to use some other machine to locate Raxxla? Using other kind of artefacts. Human machine and human artefacts... Or Raxxlan machine... I know that unknown machine reacts to Guardian things. But will it react to Human things?..
Sound spectrogram from Thargoid structures triangulates two fixed systems: Merope (left) and COL 70 sector fy-n c21-3 (right, permit-locked). Triangulation methodology confirmed working with 100% accuracy by matching results against EDSM coordinates.
That first picture, its Thargoid related right? Were those two systems, one on left and one on right, triangualted and find in game? Click to expand... Jepp. The left one is Merope and the right one is COL 70 sector fy-n c21-3(permit locked).
Unknown Artifacts (UAs) directionally point to Merope star/system while Unknown Probes (UPs) point to Merope 5C. This triangulation pattern suggests Merope region as a critical nexus for Raxxla investigation.
Don’t forget UAs all point to Merope star/system and UPs all point to Merope 5C. Maybe we need a tuning fork &/or pendulum? Click to expand... I remember. I was actually with Ratking15, the first time he took the UA to Merope and dropped it by the star.
Thargoid Link artifacts appear to point toward Merope system when not activated, supporting the theory that multiple Thargoid artifacts form a directional network centered on the Merope region.
have you tried google? TL point to goid structures Click to expand... I think they point to Merope, if they are not activated. It’s dificult to see because of the design, but I think it’s correct.
Large permit-locked region near California Nebula/NGC 1333 containing bright star clusters remains inaccessible. Located near known Thargoid-infested space with thousands of light-years under unknown permits.

While Thargoid Sensor points to Merope and Thargoid Probe points to Merope 5C, the destination of the third artifact (Thargoid Link) remains unidentified and warrants investigation.

Thargoid Sensor pointing at Merope (?), Thargoid Probe pointing to M. 5c (?), but there is and third one, Thargoid Link. Where do T. Link point at?
Speculation that Thargoid presence in Pleiades region may indicate they are also searching for Raxxla, explaining heightened interest by both major human powers and Thargoids in that area.
It had crossed my mind, but I have no evidence for it, that the Thargoids might be looking for Raxxla too and that was why they were in the Pleiades.. pure speculation, but one should ask why the big interest in that region by both major powers and the thargoids..
Developer restrictions on Raxxla, antigravity, and time-travel may be interconnected. Thargoid drive mechanics potentially non-Newtonian, possibly related to Raxxla properties or access methods.
Thargoids appear in the FDEV sanctioned books, which are supposed to be canon. Click to expand... Of course, but not in an "active" way. I mean, in order to deal with Raxxla, we might be supposed to deal with the Thargs and antigravity in some manner... What do we know about Tharg drives ? Are they "Newtonian" like ours ? And Raxxla ? Anyway... just guessing.
