Investigation into Sol system locations as Raxxla candidates, particularly focusing on permit-locked Triton and its connection to Neptune Ryder lore. Evidence includes historical permit lock changes, Mars artifacts, and Federation military activity suggesting alien-related concealment.

Proposal that Triton (permit-locked moon of Neptune) could be Raxxla through name encryption. Points to permit-lock status, Fed military activity, location at heart of bubble, and both names having 6 letters.
I wouldn't say that searching for Raxxla right now is a lost cause. This is THE big puzzle of the Elite universe. Raxxla. Everyone and their dog knows about Raxxla. When Jason Ryder, moments before his death, spoke that word to his son Alex ... Alex had no idea what the word meant. It was foreign to him. Totally alien. Flash forward to the year 3303 and Raxxla is now a brand name (and no, I don't mean guitar pedals). We have "The Children of Raxxla" advertising the place in their faction name. Salome speaking about Raxxla from Beagle Point and stating that it was first mentioned "in Federation data banks on Earth in 2814". I just really have to wonder ... what happened in the galaxy that something so obscure that Alex Ryder had never heard of suddenly becomes so prominent that an ind...
Triton may be permit-locked due to alien presence (Guardian or Thargoid). The permit lock could be hiding Raxxla itself rather than preventing access to it.
Since MB said yes Raxxla is in the game, you will get no hints about it, it could very well be Permit Locked. It is in the game like he said, but he never said whether or not it was accessible. We think the more likely scenario for that permit locked moon is a Thargoid Base. But it could also be locked because it has an atmosphere: Click to expand... Not because it has an atmosphere, from the galmap it is landable but needs a permit. I have occasionally wondered if Triton might be locked due to an alien presence, especially since the Alien Artefact was found on Mars, but I suspect it might be more Guardian than Thargoid (though you should know! ), but it would also be a good hiding place for RaXXla.
The alien artifact discovered on Mars may be highly relevant to locating Raxxla, suggesting a connection between Mars discoveries and Raxxla's location or nature.
What would you do if you found Raxxla? Click to expand... Depends how much it lived up to expectations. If I found it and it was disappointing then I'd keep my gob shut and not tell anyone. If I found it and it was reasonably decent then I'd invite a select group of people, who could be trusted with the knowledge and power, to join me there.
The alien artifact found on Mars is believed to be highly pertinent to Raxxla investigation, suggesting a connection in lore or location clues.
We think it is locked because of Thargoid activity as well. You think we would let your kind in to trade with us at our spaceport without requiring a permit?!? Click to expand... Illogical, does not compute! Triton is in Sol, the heart of Fed space, and is frequently visited by fed ships; the thargoids have been attacking fed ships and convoys. This only works if the recent Thargoid attacks were not by Oresrians but by Klaxians and why then only against federation? And a spaceport would require Thargoid ships to visit for resupply which would certainly have been noticed in Sol and would have hit galnet in BOLD CAPS! however, if Triton were a military base with captured technology and Oresrians from the first war then that might make sense! It might also explain how the Club know so mu...
Report of mission involving tourist beacon located between Heart and Soul Nebuli in Ogma system. Potentially relevant to Raxxla search.
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I was just offered the following mission from Galcop Colonial Defense Mission on Dervish Platform in the Ogma system. Appears to be a tourist beacon half way between the Heart and Soul Nebuli.
Mission offered from Galcop Colonial Defense Mission on Dervish Platform in Ogma system, directing to a tourist beacon halfway between the Heart and Soul Nebulae. Identified as a known staging post setup by Salomé over a year prior, now functioning as ordinary tourist beacons.

Report of nav beacon absence in Pleiades Sector OI-T c3-7 during beta testing. Notable absence may indicate special system status.
In beta, last night, I couldn't find nav beacon in Pleiades Sector OI-T c3-7. Perhaps I was too tired to notice. Orcus Crag is interesting name on a few levels. It had a short-lived, thematically interesting, community goal. Have you read your Dark Wheel carefully? Orcus itself relates to some underworld themed mythology, which by itself is not too rare. Apparently, Pleiades Sector IR-W d1-55 is going to be called Delphi. Merope 5 C is a navel of sorts.
PLAA EURK FQ-A B55-2 is the closest system to Alpha Cygni at 2.51 light-years, containing 2 class M stars and 1 class T star. Proximity to Alpha Cygni's unusual anomaly makes it worth investigation.
Closest system to Alpha Cygni is PLAA EURK FQ-A B55-2. It's 2.51 lyrs away and only contains 2 class M stars and a class T star.

5-star formation near Sol spells RAX-LA in alignment, with stars arranged in spiral pattern matching Archimedean spiral geometry. Possible reference to 'spiralling stars' mentioned in Raxxla lore, located close to Sol matching early exploration distances.
Firstly a big thanks to Cmdr Poet Starwind who initially brought this amusing alignment to light: an odd formation of 5 stars near Sol which spell out RAX-LA. Link: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/168253-The-Quest-To-Find-Raxxla/page324 My initial interest was peaked due to a likelyhood of a Raxxla clue being relatively close to Sol, based on early exploration distances, a tenuous one at best. Although I personally dont think its in the bubble and more likely its on the other side of nowhere this was as good a place to start than any other, and I had nothing better to do. I also noticed that these stars all aligned in a spiral which unlikely as it may be, could be the fabled 'spiralling stars'. So I overlayed an actual archimedean spiral and there was alignment, there was ...
Tau Ceti appears as first recorded mention of Raxxla in lore and was the first human colony outside Sol. Art Tornqvist, a shipboard mechanic based at Tau Ceti circa 2296, may indicate a vessel departing from this system in search of Raxxla, possibly leaving a crashed wreck with additional clues.
Some random thoughts following some fruitless footling around the core systems... Art Tornqvist - if not a clue or anagram but an actual in-game character - Art was a shipboard mechanic, circa 2296 based out of Tau Ceti system. Now do we know of any vessels existing within that time frame setting off from TC? I'd always liked the idea of it being literal. And there being a crashed vessel some place, possibly containing another clue... Click to expand... I stopped by Tau Ceti because I agree this system sounds fishy. Its the first recorded mention of Raxxla, so it seems reasonable that whoever discovered it was based out of this system. Tau Ceti is also the first human colony outside Sol, and had indigenous alien life until the human settlers wiped them out. "Art" = Arete = Greek...
