Detailed interpretation of the Raxxla codex icon's hexagonal structure, six beams, dashed inner hexagon, triple-split circle, and central dot as representing either a specific stellar configuration, station geometry, or symbolic system map.

The codex symbol for Raxxla may represent a station or gateway with six (possibly eight including vertical) bridges leading to it or alternate universes, drawing parallel to Oolite's design structures.
Ret. Admiral, Duke Emeritus... if I am correct. About Raxxla, seems it will finally be some sort of Quest, fullfiling that codex thing. Well, I hope so. ... Obfuscated in the black, with six "bridges" leading to it (or getting out to other universes). Might add 2 more up and down, makes the 8 of Oolite... Click to expand... Mmm, think you may be overexercising imagination there. The symbol shown is intriguing but to me it could represent a station.
Detailed breakdown of the Raxxla codex image showing outer hexagon with 6 beams, inner dashed hexagon stripe (33 dashes total), 3-piece broken circle, full circle, and central dot. Three interpretations proposed: ringed star with 3 belts and 33 orbiting bodies, proto/post-Guardian site layout, or potentially irrelevant visual.
https://i.Please use another image host/S7r4Zhx.png This is an accurate representation of the codex RAXXLA image. I wouldn't want Scytale's (18 dashes) avatar pic becoming part of misinformation. Hexagon + 6 "beams" Smaller hexagon, containing: Dashed hexagon stripe ( 6 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 6 + 5 or 33 dashes total), 3-piece Broken circlen, circle, dot. Theory A: Star [ringed], 3 belts, 33 bodies (on 6 bodies orbiting the main star). Theory B: Proto-Guardian or Post-Guardian site layout. Theory C: Irrelevantto the quest.
The hexagonal shape with two circles (one split into 3 pieces) likely represents a specific star system symbolically rather than literal station geometry, following patterns from previous Elite mystery quests.
I disagree with the coriolis bits. It's never a hexagon. Edit, ok, nvm... It can be. But I highly doubt this is what's being represented. If it was, there'd be a triangle at the center, no? And you would have to be aligned perfectly, since you otherwise have 7 or 8 edges. symbolic ... obfuscation ... portal Click to expand... I agree that it's a symbolic representation of something and that the dashed line may very well be symbolizing obfuscation. But why hexagonal, why two circles with one of them split in 3 pieces... I think, as was often the case with symbolic representations of Elite mystery quests, see image below, it's incredibly likely to refer to a specific system. https://i.Please use another image host/92CCmmC.png
If station light patterns encode information, Morse code may be more viable than Braille (Morse uses 5-character sequences). Suggests 'Every Commander has to...' hint may relate to decoding methodology.
One question. Did anyone tried to look further at such thing as the strange square lights or windows on the stations? It look like the Braille code. Each "symbol" is the combination of max 4 square lights. All this lights looks like central part of Raxxla logo from the Codex. Screenshot: https://Please use another image host/zhHCOeb Click to expand... Numbers take 5 pings in Morse, which would make station coding unlikely to give a location. if you want to decode it, though, or try, Wikipedia has a Morse translation sheet. It'd at least fit the "Every Commander has to..." tip Alternatively if you message or reply to send me the pairings (as I cant load that image on my device) I'll (try to) translate and post to thread, use hyphens for short and underscore for long, using periods (to...
Guardian relic symbology may be connected to Braille code patterns, suggesting the encoding system could appear elsewhere in Elite Dangerous.

I did suggest the original symbology on the Guardian relics etc may be related to Braille; wouldn’t surprise me if it crops up somewhere in ED.
Square lights/windows on stations appear to resemble Braille code patterns and match elements of the Raxxla logo from the Codex. Each symbol combines up to 4 square lights.

Station mailbox circles contain 5-6 dashes forming similar shapes; station rear interior appears to mirror the outside of the Raxxla Codex image. System map reticule shares these design elements. 18-dash hexagon patterns observed on red circles in some stations.

Also that shape is the reticule for the system map. The back of the interior of the station is also seemingly the outside of the raxxla image. The only thing I haven't seen nearly exact references too are the 18 dashes in the hexagon shape. Although there are 18 dashes in some stations on the rear in a red circle. It could...
Square light patterns on stations appear to share design language with Guardian sites. Visual parallels suggest possible connection between Guardian mysteries and station clue architecture.

If we're talking about the similarities, it looks more like the guardian sites, similar design languages: https://i.Please use another image host/EQEBfsF.jpg But that could just be another lazy design from the FDev This is the original Raxxla logo btw: Spoiler Edit: Also we need some grills on this investigation. Women are usually better at seeing the "big picture" and relations between the clues.
