Framework for Raxxla investigation combining in-game empathy (understanding physics and creator motivations) with out-of-game empathy (thinking like a developer). Emphasizes that Raxxla is likely a physical planet discoverable through logical reasoning about game design patterns.

Proposes two-pronged empathetic methodology: in-game empathy (considering physics/creator motivations) and out-game empathy (thinking like a developer). Suggests Raxxla is likely a planet but doesn't rule out black holes or wormholes.
Finding Raxxla, should it exist, will be like assembling a 10 thousand piece blank jigsaw puzzle. All one can go off of in that case is the shape of each individual piece or, perhaps, the smudges and blemishes left by the creator of the puzzle. MB's "no clues" line makes that much clear. So what are the smudges? What are the shapes? I think it would pay to think about this in a more "empathetic" way, if that makes sense - put ourselves in the shoes of whatever caused or created Raxxla. As I see it there are two avenues to take here. 1 - In-game empathy. Whichever entity is responsible for Raxxla, be it an active force or something more passive, must have operated under some set of rules. If it is a passive force (Raxxla as a creation of natural origins) then we must consider physical laws...
Core investigative problem: when anomalies are discovered in-game, there is no reliable way to determine whether they are deliberately placed by developers (potential Raxxla clues) or unintended bugs.
Or...it's a bug. Like Mitterand Hollow. That has already been reported. I've put 44kly's on the clock looking for Raxxla. I'd love to find it as much as any of us, but let's not turn nothing into something. Click to expand... This is the problem with looking for anomalies - when you find one, there's no way to tell if it's deliberate or a bug.
User claimed to have found Raxxla but stated they signed a confidentiality agreement preventing disclosure. No substantive evidence provided, but suggests possible contact with developer or NDA situation.
Can't say, had to sign a confidentiality agreement, Sorry
Theory that Triple Elite status may unlock special interactions, possibly requiring all three Elite ranks (Explorer, Combat, Trade) plus Dark Wheel alliance. Suggests checking faction status at Mariyacoch and Ticushpakhi as test locations.
I know DJTruthSayer has theorized that Raxxla can only be found by a Triple Elite but, like almost everything surrounding Raxxla, nothing confirmed regarding that. Click to expand... Why TRIPLE Elite, if true ? You only need Elite to interact with TDW. So ... (tinfoiling) if true, you need the other two Elite status in order to get the trade and combat Elite (assuming you started Elite as Explorer) missions from the factions involved. Then ... unlocks...something? (If someone wants to try a little experiment: get allied with TDW, then go to Mariyacoch and look closely at you status with the factions there and the first welcome speech. Anything special ? Repeat in Ticushpakhi.) Just a theory @Han_Zen: wow !
Theory that Raxxla requires both Triple or Quadruple Elite status AND high Imperial or Federation rank (possibly only one faction, not both) based on Frontier's statement about Raxxla being 'each person's journey' suggesting maximum progression gating.
Yea... tbh the thing that points me to the idea of it being Triple Elite is when Frontier say (paraphrasing) "We want this to be each persons journey" - to me that screams, "This is super end game and locked to only those that have done EVERYTHING"... I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps when fully ranked up in imp/fed (and possibly only one, not both) AND Triple/Quadruple Elite, then something starts? Or possibly even Triple Elite with no Fed/Imp rank? Who knows. Total Tinfoil but still.. another view or possibility I guess?
Proposes Raxxla discovery requires multi-step personal journey (achieve elite rank, visit specific locations, complete objectives) rather than single system scan. Suggests FD may honor Robert Holdstock by hiding Raxxla in systems with Holdstock-named stations.
Is the general assumption that Raxxla can be found by just jumping to the correct system and searching around a bit and there it is, something with a big Raxxla sticker on it? I feel it should be more like a multiple attainment discovery; become elite, visit x, find y, do z.... (as in a personal journey) which eventualy unlocks Raxxla. In which case it can be anywhere and visited all the time by many cmdrs, just not revealed as Raxxla. Personally, I really hope FD have made finding Raxxla a homage to Robert Holdstock, without whom we wouldn't have Raxxla at all. As such I'm off to visit all the systems with stations which include Holdstock in the name.
Discussion of optimal detailed surface scanner engineering for covering maximum area in unknown systems, relevant to the search methodology for locating hidden systems like Raxxla.
It's the "...as intended" part which concerns me. Click to expand... What is the english term for a snipe hunt? On a side note: AnaRaxxla! Is this about the jump range to DRYU from the bubble or is it farther?Edit: NVM, I'm assuming it's more than 3k LYs... 8) Edit: Apparently this has the best long range refueling time reduction: Raspxxplora <-What is the best engineering setup on the detailed surface scanner? I was thinking fast scan but is long range or something a necessity for anything? It would be for mass scanning of objects over as much area as possible. Or is it better without any for the weight loss? Post edit edit: I skimmed through ASMR gamings livestream footage but didn't see if he got to the raxxla system. Maybe he'll get there later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Developer Michael Brookes stated Raxxla is in the Milky Way but each CMDR must undertake a personal journey to access it, implying it requires individual effort to 'unlock' rather than simply being discovered as a static location.
Michael Brookes' 1) "It's in the milky way, but I can't tell you where at this stage." 2) "It's a journey that everyone has to travel for themselves." 2) Seems to imply it's not just sitting there waiting to be found. More there's some way to access that would require some effort by each individual CMDR. Journey could be a literal journey, so far outside the bubble, or I'd say more likely, journey would refer to some work for a CMDR to "unlock" somehow. HTH!
Michael Brookes stated that Raxxla puzzle requires 'some of it to be a tiny little bit obvious, so people know what they are doing,' suggesting there are in-game clues that should point players toward the solution.
I honestly had no idea it was a thing either. Saw your response and went to Google it. The one thing about this game and it's community is that it is very educational. Click to expand... I learned that some stars are small and close by, and that other stars are large but far away. Mind. Blown.
Commander investigating all significant stars from Wikipedia lists across 88 constellations. Approximately 1,500 cataloged systems checked with ~12,000 systems remaining. Methodical astronomical search approach.
due to the sheer size of the project. Click to expand... Sheer size? You're doing around 10 systems each in 12 constellations. I'm currently 11 constellations into investigating all significant stars (according to the lists in Wikipedia) of all 88. I've hit around 1,500 cataloged systems so there's probably around 12k to go. Nonetheless, I like your thinking and dedication, so best of luck Commander o7
Argues that Frontier would not gate Raxxla discovery behind English-language poetry/sonnets, making actual clues more likely to be language-independent than literary analysis suggests.
Yes, I also was thinking about this. I don't believe Frontier would hide some content behind poems or sonnets and making it only accessible to a subgroup of players which have a decent knowledge of the English language. I think if Fontier decides that it's time to find Raxxla, the clues will be much simpler and easier to follow... Click to expand... Much better expressed than I did and with a lot less words. Glückwünsche, Kaleunt ! [yesnod] (.. and give a try to the dgcgcd tuning.. so"spacy" !)
Proposes using Entity Relationship Diagramming (ERD) methodology to map spatial relationships between Dark Wheel faction activity locations and unpopulated areas, including a network with six spokes.
OK do bare with me - we've been drinking. Fever dream last night...dreamt of various factions, then the gaps between them, it created a network. The network of unpopulated areas which had concentrations. One of them had six spokes... This came I realise as a reverse of what we do at work. We gather intelligence on nominals; their personal details, locality and connections with others. This is used to identify spacial relationships and focus resources. Its called ERD - Entity relationship modelling. I know we have very little hard evidence regards Raxxla but I suppose what I'm trying to get at is, if we took all the known data we do have on the activity surrounding the old Dark Wheel missions and join the dots in a spacial ERD what will we get? Honestly I think it would just be chaos as...
Raxxla may be discoverable only through a sequence of location-specific viewpoints where celestial objects appear as specific symbols (like a jewel on Cassiopeia's head from Farsight base perspective). This suggests a guided journey requiring viewing locations in proper order.
People are getting depressed about finding it. Does that mean someone found it? And about the jewel on casipeas head. what bout a star from a certain perspective looking like jewel from a direction. Like in this pic. I don't know what nebula this is but it gave me the idea. From the Farsight base it looks exactly like a jewel on the head of this nebula. This pic is not from the farsight base near heart and sole. It's on the way back going towards that big star formation. https://i.Please use another image host/sEHvMJo.jpg It's the little round nebula near the middle left of the screen above and to the right of the 23% heat indicator. Maybe it can only be found by following a path of clues like a breadcrumb trail where certain things are only visible from certain locations. A path of sor...
Claims to have found Raxxla but states there is an NDA-like restriction preventing disclosure. Asserts Raxxla cannot be found through collaboration, multicrew, or piggybacking—must be discovered individually.
Friends, it is with a pretty heavy heart that I have come to tell you that I have found Raxxla. My heart is heavy because I cannot tell you more, and more so because as such I am forced to cut ties with everyone I have made friends with in this galaxy. I have made failed promises, and have left much to be understood. I knew so little at the time of making those. You may read this and get upset or feel betrayed, and I understand that and expect that. If you too find Raxxla, you will understand perfectly well why I have to do this. There is in fact an NDC, of sorts, on the path to finding it. Raxxla is not something that can be found by collaboration between friends, piggy backing, coat tail riding, or even in multicrew. It is in fact something one has to do all on their own and there is...
Theory that accessing Raxxla requires never committing murder in-game, drawing parallels to Eleusian mystery initiation requirements. The contradiction of assassination missions at early game stages suggests special completion methods (completing AND failing simultaneously) may be key.
Othon, you mentioned that you went about your search as one who did not "have blood on his hands". I know the Eleusian mysteries were open to all, but that one of the requirements of initiation was that the novitiate had never murdered or have "blood on their hands". This would lead me to surmise that the path to be followed would have to be from one who had never killed a ship or entity in game, though the contradictory point to that is that there appears to be an assassination mission given at the first hurdle - I find it interesting that you said you had "both completed it and failed it", which suggests you tried to keep your hands clean somehow. I can't help thinking that this requirement is somehow key, though how this fits in with the raison d'etre of the game as a whole, I cannot...
Clarification that killing for legitimate reasons (combat, wars, wanted status) differs from murder (criminal acts for personal gain). Suggests the requirement is a clean record with no criminal murders, not zero combat.
It does not say that you cannot kill, you cannot murder it says. Meaning that if for some good reason you did (like wanted status, wars) it does not count. In greek times I cannot imagine that there would be no blood on anyone's hands. For example, you being a judge deciding on execution. Murder is what pirates would do. A criminal act for personal gain only. I am really sure that in the 4y I have played this game not once I did such an act.
Alternative methods to gain combat rank while maintaining non-violent status: tagging targets in high-security areas for authority takedown, or participating in multi-crew combat without dealing final blows. Relevant to Raxxla non-violence requirement theory.
Is there a way to get a sol permit without combat. you need fed rank to a certain level. can you do that without ever engaging or killing in combat?! NVM, looked it up and there are courier missions. Now the question is, is there a way to get combat rank without killing?! Or the game thinking you killed. Like not giving the final blow. Or getting credit for NPC's in a legitimate way. Click to expand... Yep. High security areas, stop at Nav Beacons, Res Sites or CZ’s and look for an active fight. Tag the ship with one shot and let the Authorities do the rest. Or just sit in a ship in Multi Crew doing combat and do nothing yourself and you’ll get a cut of the combat pay.
