Analysis of login screen nebulae and other in-game visual elements as potential indicators of Raxxla's location or coordinates.

Proposes finding the nebulae shown on the Elite Dangerous login screen may provide clues to Raxxla's location.
Perhaps it will be worthwhile to find the nebulae shown on the login screen. Spoiler
EDDB contains a bodies search function (ROSS) allowing queries for specific system bodies like ammonia worlds within certain distances from stars. Search is now restricted to 100 light-year radius around target systems, potentially useful for narrowing Raxxla location parameters.
This ship log will be used to document the assumptions, facts, theories and efforts surrounding Raxxla, with the ultimate goal of locating Raxxla. All commanders willing to join are most welcome. If no new entries are made by me for a period of 2 weeks, you must assume that I have been eliminated by the Dark Wheel, swallowed by the abyss, or found Raxxla and have gone there. I hope for the latter (but will probably send pretty postcards). Raxxla A planet in another galaxy? with an alien construct that's a gateway to other Universes. The Dark Wheel found it (and lost it?), and will keep it's location secret at all costs. Assumptions Raxxla exists and can be found. Supporting indications: The existence of the Dark Wheel faction which is strongly connected to Raxxla. Missions[2][3][4][6]...
The original Elite Dangerous wallpaper depicts a Coriolis station with a moon in the distance, while Horizons changed this to an Orbis. This suggests looking for a system with specific orbital geometry: an Orbis starport in very tight orbit around a landable moon, while a Coriolis orbits the planet.
I think its the same planet but from a different angle/orbital place & just added station for Horizons and its a little obvious! Click to expand... Its a completely different station though. The orignal wallpaper features a Corilolis and the moon is off in the distance. So your looking for a system with an Orbis starport orbiting the moon and a Coriolis orbiting the planet. The moon, of course, is landable and the station is in a VERY tight orbit around the moon ... practically scheming the surface! Meanwhile the moon itself is in an awfully tight orbit around it's planet.
A tattoo features a gate between two stars, interpreted as significant imagery related to Raxxla's location or nature.
Never watched Prison Break ? And any tinfoiling which helps to keep this thread alive is valid, imho. Where would we Rifters meet if it dies ? Click to expand... The tattoo has a gate between two stars. That's good enough for me.
The tattoo image and its drawn representation contain differences with missing/changed elements, suggesting intentional modifications or hidden details.
His tattoo and the drawing of the tattoo are not the same. There are many changed/missing elements.
The tattoo depicted in Elite: Reclamation and the actual tattoo have significant differences in elements. These discrepancies may serve as a coded roadmap or clue to Raxxla's location or nature.
His tattoo and the drawing of the tattoo are not the same. There are many changed/missing elements. Click to expand... It’s probably a clue to Raxxla! Identify the differences and there you have the roadmap!
The sketch of the tattoo and the actual tattoo contain deliberate differences, suggesting the sketch itself may be evidence or contain encoded information separate from the physical tattoo.
Brilliant, Pa ! [yesnod] MB just can not have the evidences of an NDA disrespect tattooed on his own skin ! What if the judge orders for the seizure and forfeiture of the evidence ? [haha] Right, imho. The "1000 Ly/Bubble" statement doesn't take account of the evolution of the game since '84. Even the Rift was moved one Galaxy arm away. "Oh, it's in the Milky Way !" Click to expand... To be fair the picture(sketch) of his tattoo and the actual tattoo are different. I would make sure not to let that sketch out of your hands.
Hypothesis that the station shown in Elite Dangerous startup sequence may encode Raxxla location information. Close orbital proximity to small body previously dismissed as artistic license but corroborated by actual comet station examples in game.
This is the only comet I've ever seen, and it's a ball-ache getting to it, even when you know exactly where it exists: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...-you-can-drop-into-normal-space-close-to-them! One situated at some random unknown distance, in an unknown system, would be all-but totally obfuscated. Click to expand... thanks! I read with interest the close orbit of the station(s) around the comet. I have postulated in the past that the station shown in the game startup may be a clue, but that was pooh pooed on the basis that it was too close to the small body to be in orbit & therefore must be artistic licence by FD PR department. Well this comet thread seems to contradict that argument, and to have part of the Raxxla clue shown on the game startup would indeed as MB said be ...
Horizons menu features an Orbis station with noticeably sparse lighting compared to non-Horizons version; hypothesis that one menu image may depict Raxxla and the other a TDW stealth station.
Yep ! there are just like a million of gas giants with eight moons in the neighborough of the bubble... and that's just to find the base of The Real Dark Wheel ... Click to expand... Been considering it since that rumour came out of the beta, and... ever noticed that there’s not much in the way of lights on the Orbis on the Horizons menu? Edit - with inspiration also coming from Jorki's many posts on the images/systems/stations on the menus!
The Tionisla ship graveyard maintains position between planet and star, suggesting it exists at the L1 Lagrangian point. This precise mathematical location could be calculated, offering a model for how Raxxla's location might be determined through orbital mechanics.
The best way to see the wreckplace at Tionisla is to approach it from the Sun (a reasonably safe thing to do since Tionisla, being a Democracy has few pirates in its system). Tionisla itself is a bright yellow world, and the cemetery is always between the planet and its star. As you fly close, the whole strange graveyard seems to be expanding from the circle of the world behind. Click to expand... Interesting thing about the Tionisla graveyard ... really the only way that it could always keep itself between the planet and its star would be if the graveyard exists at the L1 Lagrangian point of those two bodies. That means that someone with much better math skills than I could conceivably calculate the precise location of the graveyard. Well ... I guess there would be ONE other way for t...
