Systematic exploration of deep space regions—particularly NGC 6357, areas west of Colonia, and uncharted regions with anomalous stellar objects—may reveal Raxxla or evidence of its existence through finding previously undocumented phenomena.

References Derthek's previous conviction about NGC 6357 containing anomalies (dubbed 'space whale'). Poster reports currently investigating NGC 6357 region.
Think it was Derthek. Click to expand... Thanks for seconding the motion. I did have the idea that it was Derthek, Dommaarraa or Delmonte... but wasn't sure exactly. In any case, I know I wasn't just imagining that I remembered it. That was an entirely possible scenario. Stange that this gets brought up now though, as I'm currently back in NGC 6357, which, if you might remember, was Derthek's space whale. He was convinced there was something there.
Reports exploration 3000+ light years west of Colonia with abundance of white dwarves and neutron stars, suggesting continued search for anomalies in unexplored space.
Reporting in...made it about 3K light years last night...loads of white dwarves and neutron stars "west" of Colonia. Docked up for the day and will head back out tonight.
Documents exploration of Sagittarius A* on PS4, flying to center of black hole with video documentation as test of Sgr A* Raxxla theory.
Decided to have a search on PS4 (already done some on PC from Colonia), CMDR now Elite, Allied with Dark Wheel, and in a Cobra MK3 (in case that makes a difference ). Been to Ticushpakhi, LTT 16456, and Obotrimi but no clues I can see... This did get me wondering: if Sir DB hinted it's possible to find, but this was before Horizons, then it can not therefore be planetary related. Ergo must be a station, outpost, POI, module collectable via cargo scoop, and so on. Basic game mechanics only? or 3) Raxxla is Sgr A*. Only fixed point in the Milky Way, supermassive Black Hole, opening a wormhole to other universes, Door and Key. A place, but not really a place. Who is going to try it ? Reports successful location and acquisition of an AI Relic at Wolf 903, noting that SAP 8 Core Containers appear to be rarer than Unknown Probes in the region.
One AI relics secured, hanging in Wolf 903, no sight of a Sap 8 Core Container yet. Think they're more rare than an Unknown Probe! I Want To Believe.
Detailed survey of Bovomit border completed with focus on Ammonia Worlds and other locations. No signs of spacefaring civilizations found, though planetary landings were limited due to technical issues at the time.
Well ... we'll see. Can't hurt to poke around a bit (I hope). Click to expand... I recently surveyed the border of Bovomit ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...x-Expedition?p=5905104&viewfull=1#post5905104 ) and found no sign of spacefaring civilisations, however I made no planetary landings due to terrain generation and graphical problems (which have since cleared up for the moment). The detailed report I link to provides locations that you might want to check for activity, e.g. Ammonia Worlds. I am waiting on the Sidgoir border for 2.4, having completed my survey there, and will head for Froadik next. I think you have more chance of seeing anything new at Bovomit, as Sidgoir is relatively small (only 200 LY across). Fly safe!
Author reports extensive exploration including weeks mapping large part of EAFOTS and surroundings of COL70, exploring from Bovomit to SgrA* and outer rim to Colonia.
I am not worthy. I made easy Billions smuggling slaves and drugs. Exploiting Ceos, Sothis, Quince, Robigo and Wu, and now Rhea. Transport CGs with a 800 tons tradeCutter , the Maria la gorda (my stepmother's nickname [haha]). Always reaching the top 10%. I am not worthy. Raided so many poor refugee's T9's fleeing to save their families, just to salvage their materials. Exploited moon bases which have constant respawn of rares. Massacred thousands of brave NPC Cmdrs in CZ's who were just fighting for freedom, a better life, a future for their children, or simply for putting some food on the table. Vaporized uncountable sympathetic pirates in HazRES who didn't be aware of the badassness of my combatCutter, the Gom Jabbar, and were only asking for a ridicule small share of my vile wealth. ...
Hypothesis that Raxxla is located in an extremely remote location requiring high jump range, possibly at the edge of the galaxy or between the Centaurus Reach and Perseus Arm, found through exploration rather than mission clues.
I dont think that missions will give us a link to Raxxla. That would be a clue, when the mission is read. I dont think you will feel you are "hot on the trail" when it is found. I think it will be a combination of dumb luck and reaching for the hardest planet to get to. In the middle of nowhere, and a system you would need a higher jump range than an un-engineered conda. Ive been toying with looking around the outside of the galaxy and seeing if there is anything I can find that really tough to get to. Or perhaps the area between the Centaurus reach and the Persius arm.
CMDR Flirble Rasok sent on a circumnavigation expedition of the outer rim to search for Raxxla, expected to return in 354 days. This represents an organized search effort targeting the galactic periphery.
All CMDRs offering insights, theories, questions, answers, etc. related to Raxxla ever so slightly are most welcome in this thread. Sent CMDR Flirble Rasok on his circumnavigation expedition 2 days ago. He'll report back if Raxxla is found on the outer rim...He's expected back in 354 days. I want to believe (it does sound like a signature)
Commander planning to explore barely-explored areas on the most outer reaches of the galaxy following the circumnavigation expedition model, suggesting Raxxla may be located in unexplored peripheral regions.

Once I get my new ship; I will be headed towards some barely-to-none explored areas on the most outer reaches of the galaxy too; who knows what we'll find there.
Vela Dark Region and Puppis Dark Region, both approximately 1kLY from Sol, contain numerous untagged systems suitable for concealing Raxxla.
Could the Coalsack fit in ? Good place to "obfuscate" a rogue planet. Click to expand... Vela Dark Region Puppis Dark Region Both of these are around 1kLY from Sol and there are plenty of untagged systems that far out. I'm sure there are more.
Explorer en-route to Vela and Puppis Dark Regions conducting investigation and scientific surveys.
Well currently en-route to the Vela and Puppis Dark Regions..... let's do some science!
Tourist marker in Zelada mentions ships lost to Thargoids. Another lost ship marker references treasure but location not recorded. Suggests more POI markers exist that may be relevant.
There is a tourist marker in Zelada talking about missing ships, lost to thargoids, also there was a lost ship marker in another system, referring to treasure, but I ran out of bookmarks and had to delete it. more markers and more materials data space pls
CMDR Poet Starwind spent a month exploring WILD sector and confirmed it is not the location of Raxxla, describing it as simply remote with no special properties.
"WILD" sector is not the place that isn't a place. Spent a month there, trust me, it's just remote.
Report of organized group (led by Macros) actively exploring the outer rim of the Milky Way, with implications that Outer Rim clue from the novella is still being actively investigated despite previous Formidine Rift mysteries.
I have been searching out in the Rift for more weeks than I can remember. Click to expand... It seems that something makes you think that Raxxla could be in the Rift. Any particular reason for it ? I am asking because when the Rift mYsTeRy - quest was going on, I believed that too. But since the ...err.. 'weird' ending, no longer. How much effort is being concentrated towards the original novella? Is the 'Outer Rim' clue still being explored? Click to expand... I think there is no secret spoiling if I say that our excellent fellow threader Macros has set up a mean gang of throat-cutters and they are currently exploring the outer rim of the MW. So beware if you plan to go there . I, for myself, being a lazy Cmdr, I am just exploring the outer rim of the Bubble.
A theory suggesting that searching for Jason Ryder's 'Evidence of Raxxla' in the deep black may be the 'tiny bit obvious' thing that Michael Brooks hinted at.
Somewhere out there, deep in the black, lies what remains of Jason Ryder's "Evidence of Raxxla". Maybe looking for that is the "tiny bit obvious" something Brookes mentioned?
A beacon was found in deep space near Pencil Sector containing wake scan data mentioning classified information and 'titan-level clearance', though likely standard background chatter.
No.. Lately been patrolling near Pencil sector, got a bit excited of wake scan data from a beacon in deep space, something about classified information and "titan-level clearance", but I've come to think it's just usual stuff these things say, background. Maybe Feds have a security installation on Titan, who knows. Then I found some new braintrees, got bored, currently parked at some war torn anarchy system, been stealing water purifiers, shooting at spaceships, pew pew pew.
SAP 8 missions were removed from game. Sapiticus 8 is now landable and has not been thoroughly checked as potential Raxxla-related location.
