Comprehensive mission completion data showing SAP 8 Core container deliveries across HIP 86063, Varati, and Motilekui systems with dates and rewards tracked.
Mission: Discrete Redistribution Agent Desired Mission: Discrete Redistribution Agent Desired. Summary: Steal SAP 8 Core containers from Dark Wheel faction (appears not to be a pre-requisite, any ship will do) ships going in and out of sector. Hypothesis: Completing this mission will give a lead as to what the Dark Wheel are up to. Tested: No leads given yet upon delivery. On non-delivery faction states it could contain alien artefacts or AI software (credits to bitstorm for supplying this information) Best retrieval technique so far: Smash'nGrab'nRun'n. Suggests that information about mysterious systems may be available for purchase in Imperial stations, particularly regarding locations beyond the Formidine Rift.
Found a possible clue while reading Reclamation after Drew mentioned it was cannon: "You've been to the Frontier?" "To it, threw it, past it. Don't tell no-one, but I've got as far as the Formadine Rift. Not many folk can say that. And no one has gone past it and lived to tell the tale. Edge of the galactic arm. Take a line from Reorte to Riedquat, to the edge of the arm, and keep going. [...] Quiet for the most part until..." "Until What?" "Well let's just say there's some serious [can't post explicits] out there. Stuff you wouldn't believe... [...] It'll all come back to bite them one day. It's all there in the Imperial Databanks somewhere... [...] Have you ever heard of the Tionisla System? So, does that mean it may be possible to buy the system information for whatever she was talking...
References Galnet article from 17-APR-3303 as potentially containing location hints, similar to how poems were used for Zurara discovery.
I've been out at Sedna in case it relates to the poem: https://community.elitedangerous.com/en/galnet/17-APR-3303 Some odd USS I've never seen before, bit nothing seems to be Raxxla related, and a wing of security forces just hanging out nearby. Is there a guide on searching from glide? I was just trying to spot discolourations etc, but I've never really done planetary searching. Click to expand... I've never tried to search from glide, only normal flight, although I imagine some BIG things are visible from glide.
Analysis that Galnet poems served as solutions for Zurara megaship location in Formidine Rift, suggesting FD used similar cryptic clues for major discoveries.

That poem was the solution to the location of Zurara megaship in the FRift; FD gave up waiting for us to find it and needed to move the storyline along for the goids to appear.
Paraphrased lore from old SAP 8 core or 'Trinkets of hidden fortune' mission texts: 'The place that isn't a place, the door that is also the key.' Identified as potential Raxxla clue.
'A place that isn't a place' - is that the quote? Click to expand... It's paraphrased from the old SAP 8 core or Trinkets of hidden fortune mission texts. The place that isn't a place, the door that is also the key. Something like that.
The Tionisla POI was set with 'partially decoded' information and may never have been fully decoded. Drew Wagar moved on after Premonition release, suggesting any clues from this POI are likely final.
Sorry, I meant the actual POI in the system, in the galaxy, that is present as of 'right NOW'.. Click to expand... Yeah ... because when the POI was put in place that was what we knew about it ... 'partially decoded'. I'm not sure if it ever got 'fully decoded' or not but now that Premonition has been released and Drew has moved on ... I think it is safe to assume that whatever info we have from that is all we'll ever be getting.
A Point of Interest exists at Tionisla marked as 'partially decoded' in the game. The status may represent an unresolved mystery or incomplete clue that could relate to Raxxla.
So, what about the POI at tionisla? https://community.elitedangerous.com/en/galnet/uid/57ee35199657bad4635a5e6b It still says 'partially decoded'..
The Tionisla POI decoded as an ancient Greek reference related to a Formidine Rift expedition, with mention of 'the giraffe bit' as part of the decoded information.
Yeah ... because when the POI was put in place that was what we knew about it ... 'partially decoded'. A Colonia crash site codex entry exists that may relate to either Thargoid storyline or potentially SAP 8 missions, which are theorized to be Dark Wheel/Shinrarta-related.
Do we think this is relevant? https://canonn.science/codex/colonia-crash-site/
Colonia crash site in Codex related to Black Flight lore. Potentially relevant to understanding factions connected to Raxxla mystery.

Robert Holdstock and Malcolm Edwards' 1980 publication 'Tour of the Universe' investigated as potential source for Raxxla references or Elite lore clues.
Next stop in my search for Raxxla: Tour of the Universe: The Journey of a Lifetime by Robert Holdstock and Malcolm Edwards. Published in 1980. Keep hoping to find other references to Raxxla or other bits of Elite lore in some of Holdstock's older writing. Some background: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_of_the_Universe
Raxxla is conceptualized as both a door and key; a celestial body obfuscated in the outer rim inhabited by a TDW schismatical party with a portal. Reconciling original Robert Holdstock definition with Elite: Dangerous game mechanics.
Right, Pa. As I said, perhaps we need to know exactly what Raxxla is in ED for us to find where Raxxla is in ED. We mostly assume it's a door that is also the key and a place that isn't a place. A celestial body obfuscated in the outer rim. I hope it still is so. The RH's definition is very clear. A planet inhabited by people (a TDW schismatical party) with a portal..etc... (Rafe Zetter's stuff) Hopefully you can find the thread between both, Doc. Otherwise who will ?
Mars Relic mentioned in FDev official timeline (2280 entry) and tourist beacon exists. Comparison object to similar hidden artifacts within game world.
What's this about a Mars Relic? I've heard of the Butt on Mercury, but no relic. Click to expand... I believe it is mentioned in the timeline for the game (or was, that may have changed) on the FDev website, and IIRC there is even a tourist beacon for it now. Meta-alloys found in degraded signal sources (threat level 4) near Ariel in Sol. Federal Navy Corvettes designated location as 'alpha site'. Connection to Aegis research implied.
Nobody has HIP 54530 permit as far as I know. HIP 22460 either. I used to try entering Witch's Reach by scanning wake scans in Donner, but couldn't enter. Before the Aegis moved, I would find meta-alloys in Sol, degraded signal source threat 4. Federal navy corvettes called it alpha site, if I remember correctly. That was near Ariel, as I was interested about recent iteration of seeking for luxuries signal sources. I used to search for Tanya Blaine in HIP 82964, and Colonia. A fixed signal source near Asellus Primus B had a Type-9 called Augustine in it, but many Type-9s are called that. Voyager 2 took some nice pictures of Ariel. The earth-like world in CD-43 11917 is called Ares. Aries is a winged ram. Phobos and Deimos are missing, and Beagle 2 landing is an ocean. The Robotic Avian has...
Antal's Utopia shares Guardian-like attitudes toward AI implants and technology. Exiled Guardians in rapid evolution may have pursued similar SIM-Archive preservation of collective memories when banished from greater Guardian society.
Ok, so we're not following up on the 'Utopia' lead? I mean, Utopia is a power in the game and is also a 'place that isn't a place'. Just sayin... Click to expand... The Antal's Utopia is interesting because it shows a human group with similar attitude towards technology as the Guardians that chose AI implants. This group of Guardians were forcefully exiled and we have no records of what happened to them. The Raxxla Codex entry contains no actual information but description 'A certain celestial body, the Myth,' which has generated new interest and theories among players despite providing no concrete clues.
This is funny now in hindsight!!! Click to expand... But what is even funnier is the hubbub that has been stirred up by a totally empty Codex entry. There was absolutely no information given out on Raxxla, but we now have new believers created from sceptics, and believers who are dreaming up ideas with nothing to go on. “A certain celestial body, the Myth”
Codex entries for Dark Wheel and Raxxla are unusual as no other minor faction has such entries; may indicate either FDev trolling for discussion or genuine confirmation of Dark Wheel's importance to Raxxla mystery.
... FD are giving us some kind of clue. I've never seen Raxxla mentioned in a system description before, and if that's not a hint, I don't know what is. Click to expand... TBH I wouldn't be surprised if the beta/actual release Codex doesn't have the Raxxla and/or the Dark Wheel boxes, and they were only put in to troll us and promote discussion (which i'd be fine with). I mean no other faction has a codex box: superpowers; other races; corps; "individuals" (presumably notable people like leaders and engineers); and Colonia (and entire mini-bubble of expanse). TDW doesn't seem in the same league as any of those collections. Rax was meant to be "no hints". So yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it was a wind-up
Empty Codex entries for Raxxla indicate system has not been documented or visited by players yet, as retroactive Codex would capture historical visits. FDev confirmed Raxxla exists in-game.
So I agree with Sir Mr. Preem Admiral-whatever Rasalas (jks!) and the Codex was obviously empty, as nothing of Raxxla has been found by anyone yet. Maybe that also finally kills the idea that the Raxxla 'system' has been visited in the past(?), as the codex is going to be retroactive to an extent. Personally I do think there is some significance to the choice of icon they used for it and that should not be discounted in our tin-foiling. To the poster's point about it being mythical and not existing, FDev have confirmed that it IS in-game, so there is definitely something there somewhere, we just don't know WHAT 'it' is. The journey is far from over Cmdrs... o7
FDev would not troll players with fake Codex entries; Raxxla inclusion suggests intentional content seeding for discovery, similar to Jacques Station narrative progression approach.
Just adding to the fake news / not real topic. I DON'T think FDEV would add stuff to the codex just as a joke. Imagine that salt that would happen when it was found out. I think they are ready to let this chapter open just like they planted that dude who found Jaques. Never posted before never posted after that event. He was inserted to progress that story line. No one knows what RAXXLA is but whatever it is it is real and findable, not even fdev would be that sadistic. My 2 cents and IMHO and YMMV and FWIIW (I could keeping going but) Caliber

The Raxxla symbol features an eye with a circle surrounded by 42 broken/segmented bits. This may correlate with FDEV's division of the galaxy into 42 sectors, potentially tying together the Hitchhiker's Guide reference with actual galactic geometry.
Not sure if it is relevant but the symbol for raxxla has an eye and a circle around it, PLUS 42 broken or segmented bits around the circle. Did FDEV not just divide the galaxy into 42 sectors. Everyone thought it was a reference to hitchhiker but maybe it ties into the symbol. Caliber
Raxxla symbol contains 33 segments arranged as 6+5+6+5+6+5 pattern, with the 6-segment groups aligned to the belt symbol, suggesting intentional mathematical/geometric encoding in the design.
32 as 6 +5 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 5 ? .6. 5.5 5.5 .6. ? Click to expand... 33 actually 6 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 6 + 5 or 5 + 6 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 6 Note that the 6's are lined up with the "belt" symbol. https://i.Please use another image host/fyrwuvc.png
The symbol in the Raxxla Codex entry is the primary available clue; progress may depend on discovering where this symbol appears elsewhere in the game world, suggesting it serves as a geographical or functional marker.
I think the symbol on the Codex is the only clue we have but by itself it's meaning is open to speculation. (Also, wait until live just in case it changes subtly!). I suspect the question to ask that will help us make progress is: 'Does this symbol appear anywhere else?'.
The Dark Wheel Codex entry contains a symbol matching previous trailer imagery alongside a graphic showing what appears to be an Orbis station in orbit around a planet near a red dwarf, possibly indicating the origin of 'wheels' terminology.
From OA’s codex video The Dark Wheel entry looks interesting, Spoiler while the symbol on the left is the same as previously shown in the trailer the graphic on the right shows some type of station (orbis? It’s not clear on my ipad screen) apparently in orbit around a planet close to a red dwarf. Is this the origin of the “wheels”?
The first paragraph of the Raxxla Codex entry reads like one of the treasure hunt CGs. An initials reference (O.R.) in the Raxxla Codex also appears in another Codex entry, possibly Dark Wheel or a Corporation.
The first paragraph of the Raxxla entry in the Codex reads like one of the treasure hunt CGs. I'd wait until release before looking for anything or trying too hard to infer a meaning, not least because wordings etc. might change. . There is also a mention of something later on in the Raxxla Codex (to avoid spoilers I'll just use the initials O.R.) where the O. is also mentioned in the Codex entry for something else (should have screenshotted it, forget whether it was The Dark Wheel or one of the Corporations, maybe Wreaken). Again, I want to wait until release because there is too much placeholder stuff in general and everything is subject to change. . I don't have much confidence in my ability to make any sense of this, just as I know there's no way I'd have solved the Rift mysteries ...
Cynthia Sideris name breakdown: Sideris = star/celestial body/constellation; Cynthia = gem/jewel/Artemis epithet. Omphalos = 'navel of the World' possibly referencing Sagittarius A* or other central locations. Jewel Box star cluster (NGC 4755) with A-shaped asterism suggested as connection.
Spoiler Sideris: star, celestial body, constellation (Cicero). Tempest, storm (Vergilius). Cynthia: huakintos, Kunthia, gem, jewel, Artemis' epithet. Omphalos: "navel of the World" (Sgr A* or Yorkshire) ? Click to expand... This makes me think of the Jewel Box star cluster (NGC 4755). It has an A-shaped asterism where the star at the tip is HR 4887 (not a very interesting system from EDSM). . As with the Formidine Rift mystery, even working out what is and is not a clue feels like a formidable task in itself. (Speaking of which, I don't have the Zurara or Teorge logs in my Knowledge Base in beta, so I wonder how much else is either missing or being held back).
Scanning uplinks on the megaship GCS Sarasvati in IC 4604 Sector FB-X c1-16 yields logs containing 'Watch the Skies' references related to GalCop. A related Listening Post exists in Jotunheim near moon 7a with additional GalCop mentions.
Interesting. Reference? My understanding is that, aside from Holdstock's original TDW novella and Space Trader's Training Manual Galcop was just another player group. Has something lore-related featuring Galcop been released? (I've been out of game for a while and waiting for Beyond Chapter Four to drop to get back in). Click to expand... Extracting video from game folder yields clearer frames showing Barnard's Loop and Witchhead with better detail than screenshot methods, suggesting multiple analysis passes of the video required.
I suggest checking the video from the game folder like Han Zen suggested. When I did, there was a point where Barnard and Witchhead looked a little clearer. Unfortunately, it didn't show up as well when I tried to screenshot it.
Investigation suggests the startup movie may be a composite image where Frontier Developments adjusted sizes and aspects of Barnard's Loop and Witchhead. A mysterious dark feature annotated as 'B' warrants further examination.
When I looked at Rigel from the far side of the bubble, it was still the brightest star in that part of the skybox. Don't forget that there are stars in the video do move. (Suggesting that POV is changing, or that this is a composite. If it's the latter, then the endeavour of finding the view certainly is pointless). I'm pretty certain that one doesn't. (I can't check the video on my phone, it won't load). Click to expand... I’ll check it again later today! It may be a composite, that’s what I meant by FD possibly “fixing” the sizes & aspect of BLoop & Witchhead, though I’m not convinced yet on that; I find it difficult to judge the aspect of BLoop with all the obscuration in the video. What makes me wonder is the mysterious feature “B” that I annotated- it looks like a small dark n...
Analysis of galmap imagery shows the foreground obscuration in the startup movie cannot be Pleiades nebulosity due to aspect ratio issues with Barnard's Loop and Witchhead Nebula.
I got it up this is just your enhanced picture with what I'm sure must be Rigel circled in red. Click to expand... Will check it tomorrow! I did look in galmap & the foreground obscuration can’t be Pleiades nebulosity - as I thought, it messes up the aspect of BLoop & Witchhead.
With Dark Wheel missions potentially gone, the Codex (Dark Wheel Toast and Stella poem) becomes the official in-game source for Raxxla clues. These texts are believed to contain maps that require careful structural analysis to build navigation guidance.
Rep for the tin-foilery, who knows...since the Codex all bets are off. Honestly feel FD have hit the re-set button on Raxxla since the Dark Wheel missions dried up/binned/bugged/forgotten. Third party tools and lore aside the Codex is the official source of lore within the game so I'm pretty certain the Dark Wheel toast and Stella poem are maps of some sort. Now originally FD said there would be no clues and it would be obvious. I take that to mean that FD staff would not give clues, but the game would hold something within it to guide us and it would be pretty obvious (Dark Wheel missions). With those potentially gone (for now) this Codex is all that we have to go on (for now) so I think we need to pull it apart to build a map. The structure of the toast feels to me that it is paintin...

FDev may have intended players to use Wikipedia's condensed version of Astrophel and Stella (4 sonnets listed) rather than the full 108-sonnet book, leveling the playing field for average players.
I've seen people make the suggestion that FDev wouldn't use some obscure book from the 1580's, but to level the playing field, the answer may lie in a tool the majority of us use, wikipedia and the "Translate to_______" Option. Astrophel and Stella has a wiki-page on the book which lists 4 of the 108 sonnets. This condensed version may be intended. Astrophel produces 1 result in wikipedia. EDIT: [This is the full book, hopefully translatable to your appropriate languages.]
Google Docs version of Astrophel and Stella contains scribbles (numbers and words) on pages; number sequences correlate to full moon logs with dates and times. Sonnet 9 line 'The doore by which sometimes comes forth her Grace' may reference an entrance that opens during specific lunar phases.
I've been flicking through the last few pages to try and somewhat catch up on where people are at with the investigation. Good to see people investigating a possible link with Astrophel and Stella. I wonder if anyone has given any thought to the version of the book on Google Docs, and the various scribbles that can be seen on pages of the book. Sometimes numbers, sometimes words. Upon Googling one of the number sequences, I came across a book which seems to record full moons, and their date and time. May have some connection perhaps? Also, the line in Sonnet 9 - ' The doore by which sometimes comes forth her Grace' - Could possibly mean something. Perhaps an entrance, which sometimes opens. If referring to the full moon logs above, perhaps when a full moon is in the sky? Where? No idea. ...
Codex hints at 'eyes to see it' for those looking; Sonnet 42 is entirely about eyes and contains astronomical references ('spheres of beauty', 'joys', 'sacred lights'). Eyes may be a thematic key to interpretation.
Possible lead here. Codex says that there may be hints in the story for those with eyes to see it (or something like that). Sonnet 42 is all about eyes 42 Oh eyes, which do the spheres of beauty move, Whose beams be joys, whose joys all virtues be, Who while they make Love conquer, conquer Love, The schools where Venus hath learn’d chastity; Oh eyes, whose humble looks most glorious prove Only lov’d tyrants, just in cruelty, Do not, oh do not from poor me remove, Keep still my zenith, ever shine on me. For though I never see them, but straightways My life forgets to nourish languish’d sprites; Yet still on me, oh eyes, dart down your rays: And if from majesty of sacred lights, Oppressing mortal sense, my death proceed, Wracks triumphs be, which Love (high set) doth breed. Human-1 signal on non-landable planets indicates listening posts or similar structures in orbit, typically visible within 1000Ls in NAV panel. Landable planets show abandoned settlements or POIs.
What's an example of a human signal? Like a mining operation or the like? Click to expand... AFAIK a "Human - 1" indication on a non-landable Planet Scan means there's some Listening post or something similar in Orbit around. Normally it should be visible from the NAV Panel no later than within 1000Ls. (Example I've checked myself : Colonia Listening Post around Colonia A 2 B, Atmospheric Planet) If it's a landable Planet, it normally indicates any human POI, like one of those abandoned Settlements. But I reckon a Listening Post or anything else in Orbit would indicate in the exact same way and is possible.
Universal Cartographics arose from merger of Omphalos infotech and Devaine-bright interstellar. Omphalos may reference the Omphalos rift/portal on Raxxla. UC's control over exploration data could conceal Raxxla's location behind permit locks.
From the Universal Cartographics codex article: "...Universal Cartographics filled that niche, arising from a merger of Omphalos infotech and Devaine-bright interstellar" Omphalos infotech - the Omphalos rift, the portal on Raxxla. Perhaps UC knows where Raxxla is, and uses it's total power over exploration data to conceal it's location? Maybe it's impossible to actually find Raxxla, as it's behind one of their permits? It would lend some credibility to the Polaris theory. I'm not sure.
The Codex contains instructions on how to find a Dark Wheel non-emissive station. This appears to be a specific game mechanic clue that requires understanding Codex information to locate a hidden station.
Imho, first resolve the 'tiny bit obvious' part. Find TrDW 'non emissive' station. (The Codex says how to achieve it.) Then Astrophel may help, (but only our excellent English-speaker fellow players).
Investigation of Delphi Control (security installation) and Primary Transport Authority (government installation) revealed no Ship Log Uplinks, downloadable logs, or active scenarios at either location. Charon crash site contained standard data core only.
Delphi Control Chapter is a Security Installation. There is a short-range exclusion zone but it didn't stop me getting very close and I can safely say that there were no Ship Log Uplinks or logs to download. No scenario was active. Getting close to the Pluto-Charon system revealed a Crashed Ship permanent POI on Charon but this seems a regular crash site, with a ship data core granting a voucher worth just over 110K Cr. Got rather excited, but having visited it's companions and found the site, it was probably amongst the dullest there is. It's a crashed Conda (Trading Vessel MD-02 on HR 6051 2f). Found two logs there, both about survival tips. The logs say numbers /11, but can't find a trail or signals of any other wreckage nearby. Predicting a dead end again, back to check out Antares. The Dark Wheel Codex title image containing a star, planet, and station may contain clues through analysis of star class, planetary proportions, and distances as a potential trail to Dark Wheel's true station and Raxxla.
May I ask a my noobish question? It is good mystery, so I started to read this topic. Was there some investigation of the picture from DW Codex title? I mean that star, planet and part of station. May be someone checked sizes and proportions for star and planet? Star class? Distances? If it is old picture, sorry. I think people still looking for the true DW station as a trail to Raxxla.
Reference to 'three marks and three lights' being 'right in front of our eyes' suggests specific visual or game mechanics clues that have been overlooked in plain view.
Slightly off the wall but given that "its right in front of our eyes" 3 marks and 3 lights, right in front of our eyes... Click to expand... Not shabby.
Tourist beacon at LP 102-320 contains a broken newline character preceding 'ice worlds' text ('\n ice worlds'). Possible intentional formatting anomaly or developer clue embedded in beacon description.
Went to the system from Guru's last post, LP 102-320, for poops and laughs while waiting for my combat ship to be towed to Demeter. Found this tourist beacon: https://i.Please use another image host/CB1vvO4.jpg LP 102-320 Visitor Beacon: "Tourist Spot 0409" "Ice worlds aren't always the most exciting places to visit, but this one does have some interesting features for those visitors desiring chillier climes." (Note that it isn't "Nice worlds" but rather a broken \n (newline) character preceding "ice worlds".) Not sure if it means anything, or really if anything means anything anymore, but I thought I'd share. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Codex entry may be intentional advertisement by a secretive group, designed as a riddle to test and identify worthy, independent CMDRs capable of solving the mystery rather than a red herring.
I know it's really the only true source we have about Raxxla now, but how is it that we know the Codex entry is a clue at all and not just a red herring? It's kind of like TDW faction in Shin, would this deeply secretive group really advertise their map to their station? Or Raxxla, if that were the case? Unless they needed independent, loose cannon CMDRs to find something, and maybe the riddle is the crucible for the worthy.
Tourist beacons are numbered sequentially (e.g., 0676) suggesting a separate indexing system with potential limit of 9999 assets. Systematic collection of all tourist beacon data may reveal patterns or lead to undiscovered locations. Raxxla is represented in green (alliance color) in game assets.
I just found this also, Maybe finding all the tourists beacons will help somehow. Maybe scouring all in game data is, again, going to help. This all sounds like previous data. I think it's been mentioned specifically actually: https://i.Please use another image host/9WVycYq.jpg We might just have to collect all this info and put it together. It is interestingly a cobraMKIII. Is tourist beacon data stored in the codex or anything after reading it? I also just noticed something else. People from different locations have very obvious and destinct clothing color. I wonder if color can be a giveaway to something. Notice that raxxla is green. Like when allied.
Reference to a listening post in Scorpius system describing a planet with four beacons where only three function. The non-functional fourth beacon may require repair or special interaction via limpet.
*snip* Other strange things in game that might be related: There is a listening post in scorpius referring to a system and a planet with four beacons of which only three work. I wrote it down somewhere That might be related in some way? The fourth beacon that is. Cheers Click to expand... Maybe you have to repair/refuel/hatch break it with a limpet?
The first two sentences of the alleged Toast begin with 'To...' suggesting journey steps, while the third does not. 'Parent's grief', 'lover's woe', and 'yearning of vagrant hearts' may be prerequisites or conditions to achieve before the final journey to Raxxla.
Looking once more at the Alleged Toast of TDW: The first two sentences begin with 'To...', suggesting that those steps - if indeed this is a way of finding either their base or Raxxla - involve a journey, but the third sentence does not. Perhaps 'the parent's grief' (note that the apostrophe indicates the singular case of parent), 'the lover's woe' (also singular) and 'the yearning of our vagabond hearts' are things we need before we can then make the final journey - to Raxxla. . These clues are all tricky to interpret because there are a multitude of mythological sources potentially involved. We're assuming mythological inspiration for the Toast but there is nothing in the Toast itself to confirm or deny this, so it is a risky assumption. Even using constellations is risky because of t...
Discovered ownerless encoded signal in Tau Ceti with unreadable garbled message (all squares) received upon scanning. Unclear if random generation or intentional mystery element.
I was in Tau Ceti today. Nothing special. But I found encoded signal (without owner) and the private something inside. After scanning I received 4 message. Unfortunately all letters was squares. So I made the fool thing. Removed it. Now I wonder... Was it just the random mindless messages?..
Raxxla symbol's hexagonal shape allows drawing six-sided stars (Star of David/Solomon's Seal) creating 3D tube effect, symbolizing sealed container like Pandora's box. References King Solomon controlling demons; investigated Pandemonium and Pandra systems.
For what it‘s worth: A few days ago I was experimenting a bit with the Raxxla symbol. Due to its hexagonal shape it is possible to draw six sided stars a.k.a. Star of David or Solomons Seal into both Hexagons. The result adds some kind of 3 dimensional effect to the symbol making it look like a six sided tube sealed at both ends with the six pointed star. Now King Solomon was said to have controlled demons using his seal. This made me think the 3 dimensional construction could symbolize a sealed container making me further think of Pandoras box. There are no Pandora Systems on EDSM. I found only Pandemonium and Pandra. I then remembered CMDR Guru‘s advice about Wiki and Google and googled the Stations in those systems. The stations in Pandemonium are named after a German Theologist, a J...
Universal Cartographics founded by Omphalos InfoTech, a data-gathering company; possible connection to Omphalos concept and The Club's earth-like cataloging activities.
Idk if it’s been mentioned before but, news to me anyway, the company that started Universal Cartographics, was Omphalos InfoTech. They’re a big company that gobbles up all the cartographic data they can, what their business is with it idk, other than The Club making their list of earth-likes. Idk if there’s a hint in the name or if it’s just coincidence, but there is an Omphalos of sorts gobbling up data on the spiriting stars that is the Milky Way. How a Rift, in the form of an artifact/gateway would fit into that tho, idk.
Critical analysis of Dark Wheel station location: standard orbital mechanics makes eternal dark-side positioning impossible without L2 Lagrange point configuration. Codex image unlikely represents actual station.
Dark wheel station confirmed? Canonn NDA chat confirmed https://Please use another image host/gallery/nMZVO1X Click to expand... Sounds fishy. How can a station orbit the dark side of a moon that orbits a gas giant? The gas giant is not a light source. You would need a very peculiar set of orbital resonances to keep the station in eternal shadow form the moon. The station in the codex would be brightly lit by the red star. It also looks to close to the star to fit a gas giant, in addition to the moon in the picture. I don't think the picture is of the actual Dark Wheel station. At least if the eight moon thing is true.
Only one alien device/object has been found in Sol (discovered in the 23rd century), yet a beacon in the system says 'Look over here.' Similar discovery patterns exist for barnacles, Guardian sites, and brain trees elsewhere, suggesting multiple alien objects may exist in Sol that have been overlooked.
I mean... There was an alien device/object found on Mars. It didn't just pop out of nowhere. Someone was obviously in Sol before humanity had the technology to notice. We found 1 barnacle, then another... then another.. then another... Same with Guardian sites, and brain trees, and anomalies, and ELW, and everything else... Yet there has only been 1 alien device/object found in sol and because it was found in the 23rd century we just forget about it. Hell there is even a beacon saying "Hey guys... Look over here". Click to expand... When you say 'we' here... who's the 'we'? And how sure are you that there's actually only been the 1?
Codex image shows Dark Wheel station orbiting deep red M-class Red Giant or Red Super Giant star, notably large for apparent distance. Systematic search identified 41 candidates matching M Red Giant/Super Giant with gas giants having 8+ moons. Investigation focused on close-range scanning around 8th moon.
The picture of the Dark Wheel station in the codex is interesting to me. The star is a very deep red It looks quite big for something presumably far away Most 'M' stars are too small to have anything but snowballs I visited a bunch of K, M, L, T, Y, C stars to check the color. The K, M (Red Dwarf), Tauri and C stars I checked were much more yellow. L and Y were too purple. The closest match to color that I could find were M (Red Giant) and M (Red Super Giant). They are also quite big. Based on that, I ran a search on the EDSM data for Red Giant/Red Super Giant WITH a Gas Giant that has at least 8 moons. I found 41 results. Does anyone want to help check these? I want to try flying around the 8th moon at close range and seeing if anything pops up. Zaurak - checked: zaurak c 2 h, no...
