Multiple Earth-like worlds across the galaxy exhibit absence of visible city lights despite large populations and varied orbital/rotational characteristics. This pattern suggests either a mechanical visibility threshold, underground habitation, or deliberate concealment—potentially identifying candidates matching Raxxla's location profile.

Reports galmap search for 'HD 93359' in SYNUEFE sector returns location marker but no star information displays. Cannot auto-plot. Potential obfuscated system anomaly.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a Galmap anomaly Could somebody please search for 'HD 93359'. I get taken to a location in the SYNUEFE sector, but no star information shows up. I've tried various map settings, but can't find a way to make anything show up. I'm curious as to whether it's just me. Thanks in advance.
Confirmation that HD 93359 search shows location marker in galmap but no information displays and cannot auto-plot. Tried multiple galmap filter settings.

HD 93359 is confirmed real astronomical object with alternative nomenclature including HIP 52537, which points to same location in galmap.
https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_93359 (translate to english) alternative nomenclature section in the wiki says quite a few,(if this is even the correct star), The first one HIP 52537 points to the same exact place in galmap
Nearby systems catalogued: HIP 50913, HIP 51319, HIP 53143, HIP 53340, Omega Carinae, 232 G Carinae all within ~30ly. Synuefe AT-L B55-0 closest visible system. Conclusion: HD 93359 appears to be a galmap bug.
Nearby HIP systems: HIP 50913 HIP 51319 HIP 53143 HIP 53340 Omega Carinae and 232 G Carinae are close too <30Ly. Closest visible system appear to be Synuefe AT-L B55-0. Selected all systems within 16.9Ly from the Nav tab and showed in GalMap. All systems visible. Looks like a bug. The trip back to Shinrarta Dezhra was very quick due to the neutron star in Omega Carinae. Spoiler https://i.Please use another image host/Yk9rIsZ.png
Investigator found no visible star in skybox in expected direction despite A-class expectation. Checked nearby systems. Concluded it's a bug in galmap search function rather than obfuscated system.
Thanks for the feedback regarding HD 93359 - Rep everywhere I checked out the nearest stars to where the map cursor takes you and found a couple that line up nicely on opposite sites. I did consider taking a long supercruise trip, but there's nothing in the skybox in the right direction - HD 93359 is A class so I'd expect it to show up if it was there. I'm going to assume it's a bug - I'll report it when I get home from work. I have to say, for a little while I did allow myself to believe I might have found an obfuscated system
An 'invisible' HD 93359 system discovered in the Carina constellation at correct approximate distance from Sol. The system appears to have coordinates defined but lacks proper object definition, suggesting it may be incomplete or intentionally hidden.
Does sound like a bug. Possibly an effect of searching for a system that isn't in game? I've had all kinds of weird things happen on the Galmap when I've made a mistake in the system name. Might be worth trying a few variants like changing HD to HE or swapping the numbers and seeing if similar things happen. Click to expand... HD references usually work - I've visited around 100 Carina systems using a list of HD numbers from Wiki. The 'invisible' HD 93359 system is in the right general area - it's in the Carina constellation at the correct approximate distance from Sol. It's like they put the object at the right location but forgot to define what it is.
Discussion of HD references and mapping anomalies in Carina region. Suggests systems can exist on galmap without proper rendering or visibility.

Liaedin system's Schneider Colony (52,999,999 population) shows EXTENSIVE visible city lights with 0.6 day rotational period. Better analog for Shinrarta Dezhra than Founders World, suggesting rotational period affects city light visibility thresholds.
Liaedin system. Earth-like-world: Schneider Colony Population: 52,999,999 Visible city lights: EXTENSIVE. Notes: I have WAY too much personal history wrapped up in this particular system: THE CRIMSON WILL BLOSSOM! Rotational period is .6 days. This is a much better analog for Shinrata Dezhra ... though I'd be happier finding city lights / no city lights on a planet with a slower rotational period closer to that of The Founders World. Regardless, this is the one to beat. Shinrarta has a lower population and NO city lights. Very suspicious. Next step is to find an ELW with a similar rotational period. nice work! Founders World nigh-side lights conspiracy busted! Click to expand... Not busted yet!
Flesk system contains tidally locked Earth-like world Gaia Mai with 1,750,000 population but no visible city lights. Not a 1:1 analog of Founders World based on rotational characteristics.
Flesk system. Earth-like-world: Gaia Mai Population: 1,750,000 Visible city lights: None Note: Once again; tidally locked. So far none of these systems are a 1:1 analog of The Founders World.
Ququve system contains Earth-like world New America with population of 3,000,000 but no visible city lights. Planet is tidally locked, raising questions about dark-side habitability and whether this anomaly relates to Founders World patterns.
Ququve system. Earth-like-world: New America Population: 3,000,000 Visible city lights: None Note: Planet is tidally locked begging the question of whether or not the dark side would be inhabited.
39 Tauri system contains Ad Pontes with 150,000,000 population but no visible city lights despite massive population. Orbital period of 43,465.6 days means night-side experiences 400+ years of darkness, making it improbable as Founders World analog.
39 Tauri system. Eart-like-world: Ad Pontes Population: 150,000,000 Visible city lights: None Note: Orbital period is 43,465.6 days. Seriously? Who is going to build a city on the dark side of that? Night on the dark side is over 400 years. Not a good analog.
Epsilon Eridani contains tidally locked Earth-like New California with 80,000,000 population but ZERO visible city lights, suggesting population may be underground or world is inhospitable.
Epsilon Eridani system. Population: 80,000,000 Earth-like-world: New California Visible city lights: NONE EDIT: Planet is tidally locked. Still not a good Founders World analog.
LHS 1245 has 5 million population with Earth-like world LHS 1246 1 and 36.2 day rotation period, noted as having too many lights but still identified as promising candidate for investigation.

Epsilon Eridani system has 80 million population with tidally-locked Earth-like world (New California) showing no observable city lights, suggesting it could match Founders World characteristics of hidden population.
